Overview

The Military Council is the gathering of Imperial generals and admirals. Individually, the generals have responsibility for the orders given to the Imperial army under their command, while the admirals provide the orders for the navies. A general commands a single Imperial army, drawn from volunteers from their nation. Once a general is given their command, they have sole authority to order the army to move or attack as they choose. After each summit, the Civil Service quickly circulate the orders each general has given among Imperial citizens, allowing military unit captains to decide if they wish to commit their own force to support an army, and if so which army to support.

During the Summer Solstice 387YE, the following orders were submitted by Imperial generals.

The Brass Coast

The Brass Coast have three armies: Burning Falcon, Fire of the South and Red Wind Corsairs. They can support three armies.

Burning Falcon

Fire of the South

  • Orders: I am no stranger to marching across the Empire to aid our allies. As my last orders as general, I ask us to raise our banners as we head to Sarangrave. First we head east to the Barrens and enter through Turan Flats. There we will face an unfamiliar foe, the Druj. They will feel the fire that burns deep in the heart of the Freeborn. They will be blinded by our brilliance as blades flash in a Fury. They will be broken as the fire of the south burns a passion for life to surpass their hatred for it. In Virtue.

Red Wind Corsairs

Dawn

Dawn have four armies: Eastern Sky, Golden Sun, Gryphon's Pride and Lions of Adelmar. They can support five armies.

Eastern Sky

Highguard

Highguard have three armies: Granite Pillar, Seventh Wave and Valiant Pegasus. They can support four armies.

Seventh Wave

Imperial Orcs

Imperial Orcs have three armies: Autumn Hammers, Summer Storm and Winter Sun. They can support three armies.

Autumn Hammers

  • Orders: Hammers, this season we pull back to Mitwold. Although our bonesetters and smith will be binding wounds and repairing armour, the rest of us will not be idle. We call upon the contracts with Prospero to seek mana with legionnaires in good health. Keep your shields close and eyes on the borders with Vigilance. If the Jotun come, they will not find us lacking.

Summer Storm

  • Orders: Legionaires, we have fought in the west for a long time. Now we go east, into the Sarangrave. Bonesetters, you shall be essential in the coming seasons. Let us take Druj land. Turn our blades on the Druj overseers. Leave the Subjugated, they have been through enough. Be vigilant while we relearn this enemy.

Winter Sun

The League

The League have two armies: Towerjacks and Wolves of War. They can support three armies.

Wolves of War

Varushka

Varushka have three armies: Boyar's Hasta, Golden Axe and Northern Eagle. They can support four armies.

You raised this army with ambition, courage and a fierce drive that I will now continue. We strike to finish the Druj threat that has been on our doorstep for too long.   • Orders: Bloodcloaks, it is time for us to prepare for the coming seasons on the west, so we travel to Mitwold. Lets trade and hone our skill with our siblings within the ranks of the valiant pegasus, but also remember those that we have lost. Our heroes have names and should not be forgotten.

Fist of the Mountains

First among the runs is Zorech, and we take pride and passion that we do what must be done. You have liberated Madruga, and now you march to aid the Great Forest Orcs to the east. Your Ferocity and Loyalty is seen. Ignore those who doubt us. Despise folly and chastise the fool that spreads it. We make for the court of the white fountain, where we will pause to hem in the Husks, and alert the Urizen archers to our plans. The husks are useful, but do not let them stray. Theology is cold, its dictates dumb, its pleaders shades that starve heart and sword. Let cowled one dwell where crew and thunder come. And keep their chants and scolds unheard, ignored. And magic winds may stir daydreaming mind, who scribble star with ink that fears the day. But give me press of ranks in breath aligned, the rush before my Iron host obey.
