Overview
The Argent Sword were raised by Senate motion proposed by Herminius of the House of the Wanderer, then Senator for Zenith, during the Spring Equinox 387YE as a result of an offer made by Callidus. Mustering completed in a single season, shortly before the Summer Solstice 387YE.
The second Urizen general leads the Argent Sword army, and is appointed (or re-appointed) at the Winter Solstice each year.

Army Quality : Raiders
The soldiers of the Iron Labyrinth are rough and ready, with an eye for potential profit. The Argent Sword can be unleashed to focus on coin over conquest to make the general wealthy.
Bound to the Argent Tontine
The Argent Sword is a part of an ongoing contract with Callidus, the Sovereign-Lord of the City of Chains. The army can only benefit from resupply, natural or otherwise, whilst the eternal enjoys the amity of the Conclave. In addition, due to its nature, it is only possible to enchant the army with Autumn magic.
Should Callidus be placed under enmity, there may be some legal complications, but given the mercenaries are not from any one city, it would only pose a problem if the Conclave were to place a significant number of Autumn eternals under enmity.
