Veto
One veto was presented to the assemblies during the Summer Solstice
Judgement 4
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Tribune
- Judgement: Nikolai “The Butcher” Petravich seeks the Veto as follows: In the name of the most virtuous and steadfast Alderai the Fair, Mother of the Empress, I beseech you! Our senators have acted ill in the face of Thule deceit. Support this veto against the Thule treaty. Based on outdated intelligence and lies from the mouth of Rak, we have been cowed! 7 regions they have taken since first our “peace” began. No other Barbarian nation has bled our Empire so. The horde they assure us they possess can not exist! They starve for it was their slaves who kept them fed! We offer too much for too little from this travesty of a one sided treaty. It is foul to bind any from preaching the Way at home or abroad! I implore you, veto this motion!
- Outcome: Not Upheld (102-1956)
Statement of Principle
One hundred and eight statements of principle were presented to the assemblies during the Summer Solstice
Judgement 9
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Valentin Ivarovich Orzel
- Judgement: It is a Troubadour’s duty to recognise and praise Virtuous Endeavour in the citizens of our Nation. The hardest challenge is often the most glorious, and Virtue attends both the attempt and the victory in those countryfolk that Prove their faith and mettle in the sternest trial. Completing the restoration of once-ruined Drycastle was a mighty trial, for though Dawn is the most glorious Nation in our Empire, it also has the least access to bourse resource and wealthy cartel finding. A deed that might be simply ordinary to the Tax-mongers, Bourse cartels and Monopolists of the wealthy nations is close to astonishing in the Storybook poverty of fiscally-deprived Dawn! Thus I laud Juniper Wainwright House Du Froste for the accomplishment of Restoring Drycastle and name that dauntless Yeo of our Nation an admirable example of Virtue and manifest Prosperity.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (398-0)
- Notes: The judgement of rewarding exists specifically to reward virtuous behaviour
Judgement 12
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Solas of the Spire of the Waxing Sun
- Judgement: It is folly to claim that the Synod has no ‘greatest Ambition’. More priests voted in unison than there are members of the Senate, or magicians who attend any given session of Conclave; we do not call into question the legitimacy of the decisions of those bodies of state. More than twice as many Priests voted in favour of one judgement than its clear competitors, and those others were outweighed by votes against. Our choice - our greatest preference - is clear. Let us bring an end to the Druj culture first, not least as this is a necessary first step for other ambitions.
- Outcome: Upheld (1600-262)
Judgement 24
- Assembly: Ambition
- Raised By: Tongs
- Judgement: Priests of the Empire you are needed in Solokha once more! The Unified Convocation of Axos inspired by our own Synod, attempts to formalise Axou spiritual beliefs. As preachers of Ambition, spreading virtue across the known world, we need to act immediately to guide the lost sheep of Axou to a Virtuous path. Reaching out in support, sparking the embers which to blow into the inferno of true virtue.
- Outcome: Upheld (338-38)
- Note: Relates to the ongoing efforts in Axos to unify the many sects, as per the A better future wind of fortune
Judgement 25
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Hal IronBelly
- Judgement: In Winter 386YE, the Loyalty Assembly named Veikko Bondforger their Oathkeeper. Veikko has tirelessly collected the resources necessary to build an edifice and formalise this position. We seek a location in Wintermark to build this edifice. This will be an oathing place, called the Forge of Bonds, maintained by the Oathkeeper. The Oathkeeper’s responsibilities will be the collection, preservation and upholding of oaths. We welcome the suggestions that this position enable the Loyalty Assembly to commit one oath a season to those White Granite walls.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (354-0)
Judgement 26
- Assembly: Loyalty
- Raised By: Veikko Bondforger
- Judgement: In Winter 386YE, we named Veikko Bondforger our Oathkeeper. They have tirelessly collected the resources necessary to build an edifice and formalise this position. We seek a location in Wintermark to build this edifice. This will be an oathing place, called the Forge of Bonds, maintained by The Oathkeeper. The Oathkeeper’s responsibilities will be the collection, preservation and upholding of oaths. We would, if possible, like to commit one oath a season to those White Granite walls.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (500-10)
Judgement 33
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Aldwyn the Glorious
- Judgement: We recognise the virtuous works conducted by captain Raal “Sealspeaker” Dunn to complete the Custodian of Bones sinecure in Skymark, Kallavesa. The Custodian protects hylje who seek the recovery of bones and objects of worth of Imperial Orcs from the frigid waters of Rikkivesi. For two years captain Raal negotiated with the hylje to allow this to come to pass; and wholly funding the building of the dolmen Rikkivesi himself. Many Imperial Orcs died holding the line during the Jotun invasion of Sermersuaq, allowing many more refugees to escape. As such, the recovery of the bones and objects of worth is a fitting tribute to the loyalty of the Imperial Orcs, and their sacrifice to safeguard the Winterfolk. May Raal Sealspeaker’s act serve as an inspiration to others; and may the hylje, the suaq, and the Imperial Orcs find common cause in the remembrance of the fallen.
- Outcome: Upheld (600-248)
Judgement 35
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Lysimachus
- Judgement: Wisdom says to despise folly and chastise the fool that spreads it. So to those whose journalistic ability amounts to publishing Sensationalist Claptrap, with as much integrity as a wilted head of lettuce AND the meandering troglodytes who take it at face value, without an ounce of forethought as to its veracity? Consider tha’sense bleedin’ chastised. Pack it in, you daft bastards.
- Outcome: Upheld (1044-344)
Judgement 56
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Lenore Hearthweaver
- Judgement: The Virtuous build up their fellows; they do not tear them down. The Prosperous are not selfish; all that is worthwhile is shared with those who deserve it. I call out to the virtuous citizens of Anvil and the wider Empire. Support your fellow Imperial citizens in Navarr so that they may rebuild their army, stand strong and reclaim Therunin. Offer your coin and resources to the Navarr. If every citizen donated 2 ingots then the army would be funded in a single season. Let us show our fellow Imperial citizens what can be achieved when we come together. We are Ten Nations and One Empire!
- Outcome: Upheld (874-498)
- Note: Refers to the ongoing efforts to raise the Third Navarr army in Hercynia
Judgement 58
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Jared of the Suns of Couros
- Judgement: Due to the fraud of Vardas, we face a crisis of inspiration. Our Way of Virtue needs a new Imperial sodality, a Society of Recognition, to: - Educate and inspire the Virtuous about our Exemplars and Paragons through publications, festivals and other means. - Collect, investigate and promote stories of inspirational actions by virtuous humans and orcs, especially those of recent memory. - Coordinate and support the construction of consecrated shrines while also developing new ways to reach and inspire the Virtuous. We must come together to fix this crisis but Senate must first create the sodality. This Judgement will show the will of the Synod.
- Outcome: Upheld (1107-560)
Judgement 62
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Cynerik
- Judgement: It has been confirmed, what has been legend for thousands of years, the PARAGON ISENBRAD is interred in our sacred swamps. We call upon the Swampcrows, the Kallavesi keepers of our traditions, and any respectful faithful to search for signs that may indicate his final resting place to bring to light as part of the Pilgrims Trail the end of one of our greatest heroes.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (362-0)
- Note: Refers to the paragon Isenbrad
Judgement 63
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Ioan Longshadow
- Judgement: The Druj killed our Heroes at Sweetglades for which we will not treat them with Cruelty. The Druj destroyed Isaella’s Dance and we continue to act with Courage not Vengeance. The Druj invaded our homes in Therunin and we do not wish them death. Navarr will have it’s day to reclaim what is ours, what was taken. The Druj should not take our silence as inaction, in fact we will be anything but silent. The Battle cry they will hear as we spring from the shadows, the trees & at the head of Imperial Armies will not ask them to Suffer, only to REMEMBER! Remember those that fell, Remember what was taken, Remember our Virtue….. Let our cry be REMEMBER THERUNIN!!
- Outcome: Withdrawn by raising priest
Judgement 64
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Nicodemus of Balthazar’s Vineyard
- Judgement: It is the Empire’s destiny to defeat the Vallorn and unite the world under the one true faith - but first, we must end the rule of the Buruk Tepel and topple the Druj. Bringing the light of Virtue to the Mallum is the key that unlocks the gateway to our future. When the last miasma pillar has been destroyed, the last chain been broken, and the Druj has been consigned to history, we can focus on the greatest battles. This is the Empire’s Ambition.
- Outcome: Upheld (1431-270)
Judgement 66
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Tarran Two-Feet
- Judgement: We, the guides of Navarr, support action that would result in the recovery of the shield or shroud of Isaella. It is believed that the Swift Dance Striding in Navarr may have relevant information. Which should be brought to Lugh-Llaw Whisperleaf or the Magpies. For the Pride of Navarr, let us put these artefacts to use by the heroes of the Nation.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (250-0)
- Notes: The official account records that when the body of Isaella was laid out to await an honour guard of Navarr to take it to the corpse glades of her people, it vanished along with her enchanted shield and the spear with which she struck down Emperor Nicovar. The shroud beneath which she rested is said to have gained a powerful spontaneous aura that urged all who held it to do what they knew to be right regardless of consequences.
Judgement 68
- Assembly: Pride
- Raised By: Edward Watcher
- Judgement: The Judgement recognising Eleanor Novarion as an Exemplar of Pride referred to a miraculous aura created when the beliefs of the Free Folk of Asavea were reconciled with the Way. The Lady of Compassion’s work with the Free Folk was recognised as a sign of Salvation, but the miracle is the Free Folk’s, and should also be celebrated in its own right. The Virtuous inspire others to greatness; they do not demean them.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (194-0)
- Notes: Refers to the recent recognition of Eleanor Novarion as an exemplar, as most recently discussed in the Smile like you mean it wind of fortune
Judgement 70
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Travid Longest Path
- Judgement: I’ve walked the ruins of Therunin. I’ve seen what the Druj have left behind - our home: pulled apart, our prosperity: burnt, our pride: broken. The Druj don’t need to be pushed, they need to be erased. Scrubbed out. Their names forgotten, their bones put to better use - herb markers, piss pot handles. Let the marshes take what’s left and good riddance. Until we get the final victory? Let’s ruin them, sabotage their wagons, poison their food, steal their banners & turn them into toilet paper. They destroyed our homes? We’ll destroy theirs better. Every path they walk should have hidden traps, every drink they take should taste of death. They are in the way - not just of Navarr’s future, not just of Therunin’s healing, but of the Empire’s strength. They only understand misery - let’s make sure they choke on it! We owe it to those we’ve lost, those who remain & those yet to come. End the Druj - so we can secure the east and fulfil our oldest oath - until then, let’s make the Druj suffer for every inch they stole!
- Outcome: Not Upheld (113-156)
Judgement 72
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Nimrod, of Ebon’s Hall
- Judgement: The Way is like a narrow, country path. If it is left untended, the people who walk behind us will be slowed by thorns and briars. I call upon the Wisdom assembly to find the narrow path of the Way by defending orthodoxy, the foundations of our faith. Develop compelling arguments and most importantly, disseminate them to the people of the Empire to inspire bolster faith.
- Outcome: Upheld (150-102)
Judgement 73
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Tren Meals
- Judgement: The swiftest way to uplift the greatest numbers from slavery and bring them the opportunity to embrace the Way lies not in far flung shores or by looking inward, but the efforts undertaken by our military right on our borders. Dawn would therefore commend the Freefolk to look towards the suggestion of Johano de la Floroj and lend their assistance to the Lions of Adelmar that struggles as we speak along with the other Imperial forces to shatter the yoke of Druj oppression and bring salvation to the septs of the Sarangrave. The more any of us support the Lions, the longer they can stay engaged, the more Imperial lives will be spared in the conflict and the swifter its resolution will be.
- Outcome: Upheld (192-180)
Judgement 78
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Ser Purslane Atorigus
- Judgement: Dawn celebrates the founding of the Vallornguard, an Ambition completed. We thank the leadership and dedication of: Percival Summerstrong, Senator Amicia, and Corwyn Heartsbane of Navarr. We urge the people of Dawn to join the fight against the Vallorn NOW!
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (420-122)
- Notes: Relates to the founding of the Vallornguard as recently discussed in the Eight for a wish wind of fortune
Judgement 80
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Herminius of the House of the Wanderer
- Judgement: Severus of the Blinding Sun creeps from Temple to Spire to Citadel fearful of the light of reason. A true Sword Scholar knows to question the world with their mind and their blade accepting the answers no matter the cost. Virtuous people of Urizen do not fear the truth, nor retreat to the shadows, twisted by hatred for those who proved them wrong. They embrace the light and knowledge gained. Clytemnestra said “Burn it down and build it back better” so we did, and now Sword Scholars prosper more than ever. The Disciples of Sulemaine preach “If you love a thing, be prepared to destroy it. Only then are you strong enough to protect it”, yet do not practice what they teach. Turn out the cowards who will not face us, the cowards that hide from the light of reason. With Wisdom and the Pride of Urizen reject them.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (234-20)
Judgement 84
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Fintan Nighthaven
- Judgement: Priests of the Empire you are needed in Solokha once more! The Unified Convocation of Axos, inspired by our own Synod, attempts to formalise Axou spiritual beliefs. Support the Convocation such that we may ise its infancy to advance Imperial interests in Axos. Let us be the light of truth to plan seeds of Virtue and Enlightenment now which will bear fruit for generations to come. Only then can we address their folly of the Creator. Heed the call of Ambitions Master and Masquerade, of Pride’s Conqueror, of Vigilance’s Sentinel, and Wisdom’s Avigliana.
- Outcome: Upheld (264-26)
- Notes: Relates to the ongoing efforts in Axos to unify the many sects, as per the A better future wind of fortune
Judgement 85
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Metztli i Pharos i Riqueza
- Judgement: The Freeborn Assembly is supportive of Ambassador Finna’s plan to manage the Grendel threat through non-military means.
- Outcome: Upheld (80-44)
Judgement 92
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Anatolij Paukov Zorkin
- Judgement: The Varushkan National Assembly calls on those of its people living under Thule control to leave! Come south, come help strengthen our armies, garrison our forts, and be Prosperous under Imperial rule, that you may join us in the vital and Virtuous work of driving back the Druj and bringing the fight to the Vallorn.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (318-0)
Judgement 100
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Ingrid Talon-of-the-Mark
- Judgement: Do not fear to act; only be shamed by inaction. Sven “The Red Wall” served as Marshall of the Mark, commanded the Heart of the Mark and strove for victory or a good death for those that followed them. They earned the name “The Red Wall” for single handedly holding back Jotun forces with their signature red shield until Imperial heroes rallied and formed a battleline. In Skallahn they commanded brave warriors to find the cause of a rampaging Bronze Colossus, recover a powerful schema from a forge of Estavus and then defeat the Bronze Colossus. In Liathaven battling the Jotun they led a flanking manoeuvre so that aid could reach wounded heroes behind enemy lines. Their good death came that day, cut off from support as the Empire fell back: a sacrifice that inspired Kali Keen-eye to gift the Schema retrieved in Skallahn “Redwall’s Wrath” to Runesmith’s Lore. We are proud to enter them into the Chronicle of Heroes.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (318-0)
- Notes: Sven “The Red Wall” has been added to the Chronicle of Heroism
Judgement 102
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Otso Usvaling
- Judgement: We give great honour to the mystics of Ishal, whose arts and dedication provide Wisdom and guidance to the Mark, since their travels began. We recognise the opportunities their insights bring and encourage all of our three peoples to open your doors to them. Trust them, respect them, give them what aid they need, and through this they will aid both you and our nation.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (330-10)
Judgement 103
- Assembly: Loyalty
- Raised By: Julius Soloman
- Judgement: The Highborn Army of the Granite Pillar calls upon the Empire to allow the Unconquered forces to serve as an advance party smuggling weapons and armour into Druj territory ahead of our forces. This will give means for the enslaved to rise up and fight against their Druj oppressors. The Druj in disarray will be torn amongst quelling the uprising and facing down the Might of the Empire. The undertaking does not come without risk, but even a chance to spare countless lives is worth it. Let our assembly lead so others follow. Loyalty to the Empire means honouring our civic duty and following through when called upon. The Empire’s forces have called and we must answer.
- Outcome: Upheld (382-34)
Judgement 107
- Assembly: Prosperity
- Raised By: Katya Vasillova Reznikov
- Judgement: The Empire faces falling prices and anxious coffers - but true Prosperity lies not in coin alone, but in what it builds. Let us plan, not panic. We call on the Senate to invest in enduring infrastructure - trading posts, national works, and commissions that reward labour and generate lasting wealth. Prosperity is not rescued by short-term auctions or clever tricks, but by ensuring every citizen who toils finds reward and every market that functions brings long-term gain. The Prosperous are not selfish; they share what they have with those in need. We urge citizens with virtuous ambition to bring forward proposals to Anvil for the betterment of their communities. Let us act not for ease today, but abundance tomorrow.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (275-0)
Judgement 108
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Hildelith Kaukasdottir
- Judgement: We call for Lumi Warmthbringer to be entered into the Chronicle of Heroes. When the cold winds blow, we look to our hearth to keep us safe, to keep us alive. When Lumi came to Anvil she brought the hearth with her, and made it Wintermark’s hearth. Anvil’s hearth. We have all found shelter, hospitality, and warmth at her hearth over the years. Lumi came to Anvil with a dream to be a Bourse holder. To break in to the most elite of clubs, full of rich League merchants, Varushkan boyars, Highguard benefactors and Marchers landskeepers. After years of toil, Lumi achieved that dream - not first for herself - but for all of Wintermark. Lumi used what she earnt to lead the way for all of us. In Lumi’s own words, she has stated that she will ensure that the Senate’s deficit is covered as long as she has the means to do so. Cold does not compromise. When the Bourse looking to drive down prices to a point that would have crippled the Empire, it was Lumi who had the vigilance to know what to do and the courage to stand in front of the Bourse and do so. A hero has a name. This hero’s name is Lumi Warmthbringer.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (340-0)
- Notes: Lumi Warmthbringer has been added to the Chronicle of Heroism
Judgement 110
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Corey Wayfarer
- Judgement: To those whose Dance takes you to Ossium your Varushkan neighbours and allies would like to remind you: - stay on the roads - be mindful of Varushkan traditions - Be Vigilant when heading north, there is a threat to the North and Face stealing monsters reside there. Be careful and do not always trust what your eyes see
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (267-0)
Judgement 111
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Halkyon of the Myriad Stream
- Judgement: The influence of Sung and Ylenwe are drawn to Spiral. This contrast of night and day throws into stark relief the knife-edge upon which those who dwell in Spiral stand. Lose our poise just a little, and the music between these eternals may turn to discord and disaster. We call upon the Wisdom and Vigilance of all Urizen. Bring all your foresight and reason to study this dance of Dove and Serpent. Bring your arete and your magic. Pluck the flower of opportunity from this nettle.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (218-10)
Judgement 112
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Voss “Poppy” Poppoli
- Judgement: “We the most glorious nation of Dawn, would like to invite our Free Folk to assist with the liberation of those who want to take the shelter of the Proffered Hand. We support their Ambition to strengthen the network and spread it within and without the Empire. Exemplar Eleanor Novarion always encouraged the people to make up their own minds and to embrace their path to Virtue. Now is a time for love, for glory and for compassion!”
- Outcome: Upheld (274-60)
- Notes: Refers to ongoing developments with the Free Folk, as most recently discussed in the Smile like you mean it wind of fortune
Judgement 114
- Assembly: Prosperity
- Raised By: Merari
- Judgement: In recognition of her valiant efforts to ensure as many Herb Gardens, Farms and Businesses are protected from the predation of the Druj invaders using the Vale of Shadows night ritual we appoint Sylvie Dancingleaf to the Roll of Benefactors. She worked hard to make the opportunity known across Navarr and employed her Broker to secure bulk pricing on iridescent gloaming to maximise the citizens protected by each casting.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (271-0)
- Notes: Sylvie Dancingleaf has been added to the Roll of Benefactors
Judgement 115
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Tuuli
- Judgement: The Paragon Isenbrad rests in the sacred swamps of the Sovevann. We call upon the faithful to assist in the search the swamps for signs that may indicate his sacred resting place. We endeavour to make this part of the Pilgrim’s Trail for inspiration of the faithful.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (328-0)
Judgement 117
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Vauraus “Prosperity’s Forge” Korppitkotka
- Judgement: At the Spring Equinox 387YE a peace treaty was signed with the Rahvin and those who were involved were named as is right. This treaty was built on the work that was done at the Autumn Equinox 386YE by - Jarrick Orzel - Bloodcrow Knot and other Imperial Orcs - Rane Shardbearer - the Dawnish contingent representing Claude Deeds. In the name of Pride we recognise the vital work they did.
- Outcome: Upheld (1243-50)
Judgement 120
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Merlot von Temeschwar
- Judgement: We the Synod call upon the virtuous citizens of the Empire to shun the Heretic, Idolator and Blasphemer. Cut out the blight, only then face the magistrates.
- Outcome: Not upheld (444-520)
Judgement 123
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Arianwen Thornfield
- Judgement: We, the Courage Assembly, recognise the Courage in the formation of the Vallornguard and its motivations. Navarr’s Courage in the fight against the Vallorn has endured longer than this Empire has stood. The Vallornguard’s founders, Percival Summerstrong and Corwyn Heartsbane, have adapted our strategy to try anew by forming strengthened relationships across the Empire in the fight against our ancient enemy. May the Vallornguard go forward with this Courage as we watch their next steps.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (294-0)
- Notes: Refers to the Vallornguard
Judgement 125

- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (352-0)
Judgement 126
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Fynch
- Judgement: Navarr needs allies now more than ever, pride teaches us to uplift others, we must recognise those who already support us and have committed themselves to ending the vallorn. Let us start with Ibiss Briarheart, archmage of spring, for his efforts to protect the Houses of Healing, assisting with several castings of Dance of Navarr and Thorn and used over half of their plenipotentiaries in aid of Navarr. So much is their dedication to the eradication of the vallorn, they have offered to swear a binding of thorns.
- Outcome: Upheld (201-20)
Judgement 127
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Sylwen Halivara
- Judgement: Ossegrahn wards in Therunin are going to fall, due to Conclave, not willing to keep up with their responsibility. Citizens protected by the wards prepare to evacuate, Military Captains held save what remains of Therunin. We sacrifice Therunin to further our fight with the Druj as part of Hearth Magic. Therunin has been asked to sacrifice yet again & Navarr has already sacrificed so much for the Empire. Navarr has seen the fall of one Empire will not see the fall of another - This is why we sacrifice - a price must be paid to strengthen the Empire for the fight ahead.
- Outcome: Upheld (139-98)
Judgement 128
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Daianara i Cabeza i Erigo
- Judgement: We, the Freeborn, are loyal to our friends. We value those souls and our continued friendship with the denizens of Trajadoz.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (188-8)

Judgement 135
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Galene Netherwatch
- Judgement: Silas of the Cenotaph took on the False hallow of Peace, with the consent of the Wisdom Assembly, to learn about our enemy Peace. The Wisdom Assembly watched over and questioned him, including a formal inquisition, multiple times. When we felt he had learned all he could from it, after a single season, we removed it and destroyed it. Any who wish to investigate False auras should have a similar level of scrutiny. Then they can seek a Vindication from their priests. Enter investigations with your eyes open.
- Outcome: Upheld (286-0)
Judgement 136
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Ignacio i Zuhri i Erigo

- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (226-0)
Judgement 143
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Aster Aceae
- Judgement: The Dawnish Free Folk are called to action following the recognition of Lady Eleanor Novarion and we call them to aid us in our mission to spread the Way to Asavea. Let them use their fervour, compassion and knowledge of Asavea to support a profoundly virtuous cause in a way only they are able to! No where else would their specific strengths be of more help than to help enlighten and save their own Asavean countrypeople, in partnership with their new nation of Dawn.
- Outcome: Not upheld (60-216)
Judgement 144
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Enfys Larksong
- Judgement: Navarr the Falconer, a tulpa of the Claw constellation, seeks to spread the influence of its idolatrous cult into Hercynia. They offer “power” in return for the blood sacrifice of the weakest in our ranks. Do not let your stridings and steadings be swayed. Let them know that Navarr will never break. Navarr is strong, and will never need the Claw’s “power”
- Outcome: Upheld (210-0)
Judgement 145
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Hieronymous Dowland
- Judgement: Hark guiser! Hark yeofolk! Hark noble and Earl! Troubadour and Enchanters too. Let it be known in Autumn coming a festival to entertain and bemuse awaits you! ‘The Fete of the Guising Arts’ comes to Anvil. To allow yeofolk and all-folk to rediscover this ancient magical tradition. Spread the word far, and all come! Speak to Wyrm Jongleur for more information.
- Outcome: Upheld (176-0)
Judgement 146
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Hayrin
- Judgement: A meeting place is being built and with it new opportunities with the Jotun. In honour of the legends, we invite the Ghodi to break bread with their counterparts in the mystics. Let them share ideas and find ways to bridge the gaps between our nations.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (284-0)
- Notes: Refers to the ongoing construction of the Meeting Place in Kallavesa
Judgement 147
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Yrkja Riansson Sigeing
- Judgement: Winterfolk, with your Vigilance the cultist of Dream-of-Famine Jem Bribban has been halted in their flight. They have gone to ground in the deep fogs of Kallavesa Marsh. Now we your Assembly ask for your Wisdom in gathering any trace or rumour, any omen or dream of where they are, to guide our heroes to root them out. Be wise and cunning as you seek, for Jem Bribban fights with inhuman strength! Beware the ragged mask they wear, and the cursed artefact they carry, and allow them neither food nor shelter, fire nor rest.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (270-10)
Judgement 150
- Assembly: Imperial Orc
- Raised By: Bloodcrow Udoo
- Judgement: “The Empire thinks us weak and will hunt us as easy prey. For our freedom we must face them as their monsters. Cunning. Ruthless. Liberated in blood.” - Bloodcrow Fenrak, Ancestor of the Rebellion. Fenrak’s words guided us in rebellion when we were weak and yet opposed an Empire. Her drums of war are heard again as new threats gather on our borders. The ancestors of all our septs found cunning ways to defend their people, hide their treasure and knowledge. Let us look to follow their example and hunt out the unusual, the overlooked and less common defences and strategic opportunities to protect our homelands.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (52-0)
Judgement 151
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Amris Johan Merikovich
- Judgement: Test what you know. Only fools accept hearsay as truth. There has been a lot of hearsay concerning Peace auras. Silas, Cardinal of Wisdom took on the aura in the full view of the Wisdom Assembly. They were inquisited multiple times, and were questioned at every turn. They held it for one season and determined that they had learned what was needed. They wished it removed. The Assembly then promptly removed and destroyed the aura in front of them. I witnessed this first hand.
- Outcome: Upheld (1097-80)
Judgement 152
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Kjarr
- Judgement: I bring to the attention of all a warning. To remain vigilant and prepared against the venom of the Manticore. Counteracting its effects can be done via exorcism, but only if it has not run its full course. Be aware of: - a hallowing on the self & erosion of what it means to be human. - Those who become unrecognisable to the eyes of a priest using insight. - Mindless obedience to the “Earl” or their vassal. See them, or the Amber Lance in Dawn for more details.
- Outcome: Upheld (234-0)
Judgement 153
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Jules von Holberg
- Judgement: On the anniversary of the Apulian treaty, we celebrate the audacity, cleverness and cunning of all our citizens, be they orc or human, and our enrichment with customs such as libations to seal deals, silent opening bids when haggling, and truly magnificent fashion.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (288-0)
Judgement 154
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Irada von Temeshwar
- Judgement: The Falconer’s cult comes to Temeschwar - Deny them! They are followers of the Tulpa of the Claw; they will claim to offer you “power” for your sacrificing the weak. They are illegal - turn them in to the law.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (296-0)
Judgement 157
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Eirlys Ashes Blaze
- Judgement: Having discussed Cruelty, we the assembly recognise the costs associated with these actions. Cruelty, in the tactics and actions of Intimidating and breaking the morale of soldiers, taken on the field and by armies and military units, carry risks with malign auras, as well as making these people less open to conversion to the Way. These actions are also effective, in the breaking of armies, and in defending our homes. Pushed as we are by cruel and unfeeling forces, we recognise cruelty as an effective last resort, and beseech all to be vigilant on the costs of such actions, such as with the Falconer. Talk to your guides, guard your soul in taking these actions and explore all other options first. Actions have consequences, act with wisdom.
- Outcome: Upheld (145-20)
Judgement 159
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Bryce the Hare
- Judgement: Hue and cry! A dangerous cultist of Agramant remains in Marcher lands. Alf Alwen is a traitor to his nation and to Virtue, and he will see no comfort or shelter from us. Shun him, refuse him, and report his whereabouts, but do not engage him with threats or violence. Alf is a Marcher and a veteran, he may talk about being discharged from the Strong Reeds and you may recognise him by that - be vigilant but not fool-hardy! This man is empowered by dark and terrible magic. He is the quarry of the heralds of Tharim, who he has so wronged.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (186-20)
Judgement 160
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Sister Meredith
- Judgement: The Marcher Assembly wishes to welcome our Faraden neighbours to break ground together for the creation of Yakholme Grange, in the spirit of shared Prosperity. We offer as Marchers, and expect from the Faraden that theological discussion (where we differ) be limited to Priests, to maintain a convivial marketplace. Sensible heads that obey these rules are welcome. Chattering loudmouths can take their trade elsewhere. See you there for cheese & ale!
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (176-10)
- Notes: Refers to the potential for a permanent trade enclave in Upwold, as per the Wild is the wind wind of fortune
Judgement 162
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Alistair Dayne
- Judgement: The Marcher Assembly praises the vigilant citizens who heed our hue & cry statements - with your help we have bolstered armies, thwarted cultists and routed malicious heralds from our lands. We see Marchers emboldened and stirred to action - citizens feel encouraged to thwart malice before it strikes. We are Proud of you, our people, who have acted most virtuously at our call. Hue & cry is the shout that seeks the aid and judgement of all who hear it - it is the muster bell for Beater, Thresher, Friar and Landskeeper, and it is the voice of the Vigilant Marcher: let that voice never go unheard.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (248-0)
Judgement 164
- Assembly: Pride
- Raised By: Friar John of the Mourn
- Judgement: We the Pride assembly recognise the dignity and pride of the Free Folk and how it has been inspired by the aid of the Network of the Proferred Hand. We believe that they are a shining example of the efforts of this most virtuous endeavour. We encourage them to offer their services, skills and energies to the Network. Have them help raise up those in need of Pride as they have been.
- Outcome: Upheld (162-0)
Judgement 166
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Brother Rhaego
- Judgement: It is our constitutional right to elect our senators according to the proud traditions on our nation. It is a wise and well-established process to elect a Reeve who then appoints the Senator for their territory. We move that our Reeve’s responsibilities and powers be recognised and legally codified. Reeves have a duty to support the loyal and virtuous conduct of all Senators they appoint, alongside national assembly, and provide pastoral care to their constituents. A Marcher, a Marcher!
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (176-10)
- Notes:
Judgement 168
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Corrin Arrowsbane
- Judgement: The Falcon flies alone. False words have told you “Blood-on-the-Snow” walks alongside. Do not hear the Voice in the Pines whispering in every threat. Vigilance tells us to clear our fields; Wisdom tells us to test what we know. This cult follows the stars; not our foe that follows famine.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (290-0)
Judgement 170
- Assembly: Prosperity
- Raised By: Ophelia Sanguineo Rezia di Tassato
- Judgement: Cardinal Luca i Taziel i Riqueza and Senator Kaspar von Holberg have met on behalf on their relevant bodies of state to discuss the matter of the strikes. They have come to a mutual agreement which will be brought before the Prosperity Assembly at the Autumn summit for discussion and wider agreement.
- Outcome: Upheld (186-12)
Judgement 171
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Vasilmir Radovanovna Esskivic
- Judgement: We welcome the Lepidean Librarian’s research into Volkhov and Bran. Their vigilant actions confirm what we know is true. That wardens working alongside our Navarri allies can Strike at the heart of that which maligns us, regardless of theological, political and spiritual threats. May we continue to seek out falsehood and expose the truth of the heirs of Vardas and our friends in the Navarr. So those wardens dedicated to Vigilance may be inspired by their example to end the great spiritual and magical threat of the vallorn.
- Outcome: Upheld (240-0)
Judgement 172
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Jaromir Ostrovyn Kostka
- Judgement: We Varushkans know well the value of the wisdom of those who walked our roads before us. Those forebears knew the peril of welcoming false virtue into their homes and hearts, and Vigilance they showed then should be an example to us now. As the Heirs of Vardas strove tirelessly to crush the anarchist Firestarters wherever they arose, so too must we move against those who would bring blasphemy and heresy to our motherland. Tolerate no folly nor malice, and guide the law’s hand to inflict the punishment that has been earned upon those who would risk the spirits of our people.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (276-10)
Judgement 174
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Keziah, Bishop of the Navigators
- Judgement: Sarcophan funerary traditions are a potent - if unknowing - expression of Pride and Prosperity. We call upon the artists of Highguard to embrace this moment of cultural exchange with the Sarcovans: let our art inspire virtue in Sarcophan so that they might be brought to the Way. Let us seize this opportunity to evangelise!
- Outcome: Upheld (390-10)
Judgement 178
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Abreya de Lagriffe
- Judgement: It is to be celebrated that the building of Drycastle has been a success and demonstrates the unity and toil of the Dawnish Barrens Houses. Let it be known that such a boon for the Barrens should directly benefit the Barren houses and those that campaigned for the wains that made Drycastle possible
- Outcome: Upheld (142-34)
Judgement 179
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Lady Renata de Lagriffe
- Judgement: The ‘Earl of the Groves’ is an abomination which spiritually enslaves citizens of the Barrens and occupies lands which rightfully belong to Dawn. This monster should be destroyed and its ‘vassals’ freed, and the Groves should be claimed for the Empire.
- Outcome: Upheld (196-36)
Judgement 180
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Thriff
- Judgement: The Cult of the Falconer’s influence must be ended. The construction of their obelisks in the Suaq wastes puts at risk the lives of not just all Winterfolk, but of the Hylje, whom Wintermark previously swore to defend. The Wintermark Assembly urges every Hero of the Mark to bring everything they have to bear, to exercise their courage and vigilance to root this cult out from the Suaq Wastes and see it destroyed. We cannot fail the Hylje.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (252-10)
Judgement 181
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Rhisiart Dancewalker
- Judgement: Sarangrave rings to the sounds of Vigilant Imperial blades. Aside from the Druj however lurks the taint of the Vallorn. Bendol. Once the beautiful spires of Béantal Dol, it is now the Vallorn Heart of Sarangrave. Navarr is the rightful nation of Sarangrave. We are the children of blood from Navarr and Thorn bound by the oaths of our skin, to right the wrongs of Terunael. The Vallorn is the longest war, which have we fought for generations. IT is right that we claim it and make it home once again. Home for the septs of the Sarangrave, who we will honour as our equal. Just as we honour the Great Forest Orcs, so we will be friends with those who seek liberty from the tyranny of the Druj. In courage we strive, in wisdom we are free. Preach to our people, sing the songs of Béantal Dol, and call it to be Navarr again.
- Outcome: Upheld (116-40)
Judgement 183
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Gabriel Amorth
- Judgement: Every Imperial life should be fought for, as the Valiant Pegasus has shown us. The front line of an attack is the place that needs this support. We call physicks and healers of the Valiant Pegasus to practice art of combat along side their healing. The Valiant Pegasus should heal when attacking and defending.
- Outcome: Upheld (248-42)
Judgement 185
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Sanna
- Judgement: Vigilance teaches us to be aware of all dangers, within & without. In response to the mandate by Herminius of the House of the Wanderer, the Vigilance of the citizens of Zenith prevented the Druj from talking straight into their homes. They are to be commended.
- Outcome: Upheld (248-0)
Judgement 187
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Ralph Godwin
- Judgement: Hue and cry, the Heralds of Tharim are abroad in Upwold. They seek Jem Bribban and Alf Alwen the murderers of Obligatus. They mean no harm to the Marches, keep your distance and stay Vigilant.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (156-20)
Judgement 188
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Paulus Adelaar van Holberg
- Judgement: The Sarcophan are building a Cathedral in the Alivetti Estates, in Sarvos, to their foreign faith. The estates are their lands - leave them to their ways and do not enter, thereby avoiding falling under their sway when it opens. We the Bishops of the League exhort you to polite & civil disinterest!
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (248-0)
Judgement 189
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Skywise Tulva
- Judgement: Emperor Ahraz, Liberator saw the truth; that slavery ate the Empire from within. To stand and see that undone was Courage. Today, we face the unwelcome truth. Historical research reveals his ties to Anarchy. We act now to discover the full truth. Do not falter in your faith through fear. Next season we say; are his actions worthy of an exemplar?
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (236-0)
Judgement 192
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Tancred of the House of the Wanderer
- Judgement: Four words not forty. During the Military Council Muster Presentation the generals read aloud the major conjunction opportunities in full. This takes roughly a quarter of the allotted time (30 minutes out of the 2 hours) when many generals have already read the details in preparation. If the options must be presented before the discussion begins they should be SUMMARISED instead of read in full (examples of the full and a draft summary from Spring and Summer attached on the notice board). Reform to the Military Council should give them more time during official meetings to discuss overall strategy.
- Outcome: Upheld (180-0)
Judgement 194
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Vlad Cherenkov
- Judgement: Freedom is a false virtue. Anyone who claims to be the cardinal of a false virtue is a fool and should be suitably chastised.
- Outcome: Upheld (230-0)
Judgement 195
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Lady Laudine of House duLac
- Judgement: The Assembly of Vigilance directs the Silent Bell to investigate the threat of Fear. We task the Sodality to infiltrate the Mallum, and discover all they can on the Druj use of the malign spiritual force of Fear. We ask that the Bell learn all they can of the nature & usage of Fear, so we will be better armed against the threat they pose. We recognise that in offering themselves to conduct this most dangerous of tasks, the commitment of the Silent Bell to Vigilance, to Virtue, and to the Empire is without equal. This Sacrifice made willingly, is a testament to the power of True Virtue against Blasphemers and Heretics. When the Mallum falls, the agents of the Silent Bell will have had a hand in that Victory. We ask that the names of the fallen are shared by the Silent Bell.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (324-0)
- Notes: Instructs the Silent Bell to seek out information on the threat of Fear in time for the Autumn Equinox 387YE
Judgement 196
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Gwenllain Heart’s End
- Judgement: Navarr proudly thank Ethengraw for their commitment to build weapons. Let this army not only defeat the slavers of these orcs, but also to cast them out from Lower Tarn Valley so the Great Forest Orcs can return to their former homes. The Navarr National Assembly encourages us to not stand in the way of our siblings, but instead give the region that was once their homes.
- Outcome: Upheld (166-10)
Judgement 197
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Aemon
- Judgement: Prepare for malice, yet thwart malice before it strikes against you. Many foreigners travel the river Couros, especially diplomatic envoys. Not all foreigners are friendly towards each other. We ask those citizens who find themselves on or near this busy waterway report any disturbances so that the Empire can avoid being drawn into conflict against our will.
- Outcome: Upheld (280-0)
Judgement 198
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Ardeniel
- Judgement: The seven Bells of Virtue used in Vesna’s Imperial Coronation have been Hallowed, each to the strength of seven priests. Citizens from all over the Empire are invited to make their own pilgrimage to the Bells and think on inspiration and celebrate Virtue.
- Outcome: Upheld (1086-0)
Judgement 200
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Maria i Espiri i Guerra
- Judgement: This season there will be bright lights on the coast in Madruga. We offer a warning. Staring at the lights at night will cause pain. We encourage all to act with Wisdom & Vigilance and avoid this where possible.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (194-0)
Judgement 202
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Pio i Vega i Riqueza
- Judgement: The Brass Coast is a nation proudly steeped in tradition. Many of our traditions are spoken about, sung about, shouted about. But what of the seers? Divination is a tradition as meaningful as it is longstanding, which has supported the nation for generations. And yet the seers are discarded and forgotten again and again, displaced by the Lasambrians, driven from Gambit and the Winds that drive the revelations they seek. The seers act out of Pride and Loyalty. They need Pride and Loyalty in return. When the nation needs defending, do not forget the seers. Recognise them. Remember them. Do not allow this tradition to burn out.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (142-0)
Judgement 204
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Damascius
- Judgement: Urizen. This season; the chains will be broken in the Sarangrave. This is, however, not an unalloyed good. There is no doubt that Druj infiltrators will secrete themselves amongst the refugees. Be aware of and protect against all malice, from without or within.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (202-0)
Judgement 207
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Aristeia Starchaser
- Judgement: Following the guidance of the Silent Bell’s investigation the Synod condemns the cult of the Falconer - who is a tulpa of the Claw. They seek to ask us to sacrifice our weakest to receive the ‘power’ of the Claw. To reject everything of which we are Proud. We explicitly warn Varushka, Navarr, the Imperial Orcs, the League and Wintermark. They seek to spread their idolatrous bloodshed across the North of the Empire. Be Vigilant. Protect all souls from this promise of ‘power’.
- Outcome: Upheld (1110-0)
Judgement 211
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Catena
- Judgement: Any Vigilant citizen can tell you that the Druj cannot be permitted to exist. The horror they inflict upon their subjects and any with the misfortune to be their neighbours has no place in the utopia we build. We will not permit it. We will take their lands, we will break their armies, we will cut their poison from the world. No more tortured souls denied the Labyrinth. No more lands and lives destroyed purely for malice. One day, no more people will wake screaming, sobbing, trapped in what they saw and heard and felt at their hands. And we will stand on the eastern coast of the Empire, and watch the sun rise on a world without even a memory of the Druj.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (196-0)
Judgement 212
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: John Sawyer
- Judgement: In light of the Red Wind Corsairs failure to support to Marchers with the action on the Kongegőr and the lack of support from military council to liberate Bregasland, we call upon Marcher fleet owners to raid the Jotun to take decisive action in protection of our homeland and stand up for those in need, where military council will not.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (160-12)
Judgement 213
- Assembly: Loyalty

- Outcome: Upheld (388-10)
Judgement 215
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Asier i Elia i Guerra
- Judgement: Freeborn Corsairs, you have already demonstrated your Ambition and Courage in the smuggling of missionaries to Asavea. In recent months Asavean refugees from Ibaria have started attending Anvil having settled in the League. They are a martial people who have risen up against their oppressors in the past, but they have left behind cousins in Ibaria, within whom the flame of rebellion still lingers! The National Assembly praises your Courage thus far, and encourages you to continue in your Ambition, focusing your work on Ibaria, where we may be able to better coordinate our efforts and missionaries.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (154-0)
Judgement 216

Find them, so we may stop them.

- Outcome: Upheld (80-0)
Judgement 238
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Gwen Tendfallen
- Judgement: The Wolves of War and the Golden Sun march to Therunin, to wipe out the spreading Vallorn. We thank their support in ensuring there is a Therunin to reclaim from the Druj in a state more able to be rebuilt. - Outcome: Upheld (108-0)
Judgement 241
- Assembly: Nine

- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Judgement 242
- Assembly: Imperial Orc
- Raised By: Skywise Gralka
- Judgement: In cold places the warlocks gather to perform their ritual to create “Hollow Ones” a practice that pulls of the worth from their target. To permanently empty a person creating an empty vessel. A living death. To be worn as one might their clothes, to be controlled void of will. By those afraid of end. The Imperial Orc assembly call out this crime against orc souls that can only condemn an individual to the Abyss - this is an abhorrence.

Judgement 243
- Assembly: Imperial Orc
- Raised By: Skywise Rykana
- Judgement: Heroes of the Winter Sun we speak to you directly this season as we seek to bring liberation to the oppressed of the Sarangrave with unprecedented passion and conviction but remember who we fight. Judgement 249
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Yosephus Morningson
- Judgement: It is the considered view of the Assembly of Nine that engaging with False Virtue is a religious crime if it does not meet all the requirements of Judgement 42, Winter 386YE. Allowing yourself to fall under the influence of a False Virtue, without the listed mitigation, should result in a trial for the crimes of Blasphemy and/or Heresy as appropriate. In this we reaffirm the judgement made by the general assembly.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (7-0)
Judgement 257
- Assembly: Highborn

Judgement 261
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Constanza i Kalamar i Guerra
- Judgement: Ardeniel of the Woodwych Harts has acted in great virtue - let his deeds be known. He arranged and spearheaded the hallowing of the seven bells of the seven virtues (see judgement 198), fully self-funding the cost in liao (49 doses) from his efforts in cutting down cultists to false virtue and taking their liao. Let these bells and Ardeniel’s actions go forth as an inspiration, a beacon of Pride in the Way. ‘Proclaim your virtue by how you conduct every part of your life’ - Ardeniel has embodied this principle; so may we all! Ardeniel is hereby appointed to record this for posterity on behalf of the Ao9.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Judgement 262
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Nekoda
- Judgement: We in the Assembly of Nine move that the general standard we expect from synod priests is that an inquisition must be conducted before a condemnation is raised. It is an abuse of priestly powers to do otherwise; if you feel you must do so and there is a good reason for it, do so in the full knowledge of the above and prepare your virtue defence.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (7-1)

Ten mandates were presented to the assemblies during the Summer Solstice
Judgement 6
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Exarch Luke of the Navigators of Virtue
- Judgement: Loyalty is not displayed by words or deeds alone, but by the unity of both. We send Exarch Luke with 25 doses of liao to encourage Highborn armies to protect the innocent at every opportunity. Let no innocent suffer where a Highborn blade may stand between them and harm
- Outcome: Upheld (378-38)
- Enacted: All generals of Highborn armies can now take the Protect the Innocent order, as per the Banners and bells wind of fortune
Judgement 13
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Dagon of the Shattered Tower
- Judgement: The actions of the benefactors who met with Senna van Izjer of the Collectors do not represent the Council of Benefactors. We send Dagon of the Shattered Tower to urge all those trading with the Collectors to cease doing so and encourage their benefactors to seek the Wisdom of the Council before taking such offensive deals in the future.
- Outcome: Not Upheld (236-268)
- Not Enacted:
Judgement 18
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Estella Lucati
- Judgement: We must sacrifice. We must pay. We must act. We must dare do all. We send Prince-Bishop Estella Lucati di Sarvos with 50 doses of liao to encourage the patrons of the Lorenzo's Legacies to support the Vallornguard. Nothing is beyond our reach.
- Outcome: Upheld (180-48)
- Enacted: Creates a bequest of ten thrones a season for the Vallornguard. Removes the level of investment provided by the Blood Red Quays Art Gallery, the Blood Red River Museum, and the Bloody Great Theatre. As per the Eight for a wish wind of fortune
Judgement 20
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Brynn Tendfallen
- Judgement: Aim high; pursue your dreams. We send Bryn Tendfallen to urge every citizen to find common cause with those pilgrims of the Way with whom they share bonds of nation and virtue. Trust your heart and follow that which commands its devotion.
- Outcome: Upheld (1259-294)
- Enacted: The authority of the General Assembly has been weakened. The virtue and national assemblies (other than Urizen, Varushka, and Wintermark) can use a judgement to explicitly pick one thing that their particular brand of virtuous should care about. The judgement would still need to achieve a greater majority, but provided it did it would prove especially inspirational to the nation or those dedicated to the virtue. As per the The greatest plurality wind of fortune
Judgement 27
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Rhesa
- Judgement: We must all of us guard against the danger of the vallorn, and be prepared for its malice. We send Rhesa, Castellan of the Silent Sentinel, with 25 doses of liao to urge the people of Highguard to remember that there are few defences better than a stout stone wall.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (456-58)
- Enacted: The donations provided by Highborn citizens have increased from ten wains a season to twelve wains a season. In addition, if the Vallornguard are given the power to commission a citadel, the ability of the Benefactors Council to support a civilian commission will be expanded to include any citadel commissioned in a region adjacent to a region with the vallorn quality. As per the Eight for a wish wind of fortune
Judgement 61
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: The Fool of Glory
- Judgement: The Virtuous build up their fellows. We send the Fool of Glory with 25 doses of liao to urge artisans to support the Navarr's war against the vallorn. Loyalty is not displayed by words or deeds alone, but by the unity of both.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (358-46)
- Enacted: Artisans of Dawn will go to work creating weapons and armour for the new Navarri army. Ten wains of mithril will go towards the cost of raising the new army. Dawn will not be able to begin work on a runeforge for the next four seasons. As per the A thousand steps wind of fortune
Judgement 90
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Rafe
- Judgement: Cold cannot compromise. We send Rafe with 75 doses of liao to urge anyone who encounters an aura of malign or unknown providence to speak with the Crows. They will help you mend your skein.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (330-0)
- Enacted: The faithful of Wintermark will be alert to the dangers of false auras and will bring them to the attention of a Stormcrow so that they can be dealt with. This mandate won't stop the spread of false virtues by itself, but it will mean the nation enjoys the same protection against false virtues as other parts of the Empire. As per the Know your enemy wind of fortune
Judgement 119
- Assembly: Marcher
- Raised By: Tegwin Fallow
- Judgement: The Virtuous build up their fellows. We send Basil Goodbeard with 25 doses of liao to urge artisans to support the Navarr's war against the vallorn. Loyalty is not displayed by words or deeds alone, but by the unity of both.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (216-20)
- Enacted: Artisans of the Marches will go to work creating weapons and armour for the new Navarri army. Ten wains of mithril will go towards the cost of raising the new army. The Marches will not be able to begin work on a runeforge for the next four seasons. As per the A thousand steps wind of fortune

- Judgement: The Virtuous build up their fellows. We send Konstantin Rabovich Bolotnikov with 25 doses of liao to urge artisans to support the Navarr's war against the vallorn. Loyalty is not displayed by words or deeds alone, but by the unity of both.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (216-20)
- Enacted: Artisans of Varushka will go to work creating weapons and armour for the new Navarri army. Ten wains of mithril will go towards the cost of raising the new army. Varushka will not be able to begin work on a runeforge for the next four seasons. As per the A thousand steps wind of fortune
Judgement 244
- Assembly: Imperial Orc
- Raised By: Bloodcrow Meep
- Judgement: The Virtuous build up their fellows. We send Skywise Gralka with 10 liao to encourage the Ethengraw to put the Black Forge to work raising a new Navarr army to fight the vallorn. Let us prepare our war together.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (72-0)
- Enacted: Imperial Orc armies will not be able to take the forge hammers order until the army is complete. Instead of providing vital support for the Imperial Orc armies, the Ethengraw will use their forges to help the Navarr raise the army in Hercynia. This will help them use their materials more effectively - substituting one wain of mithril for each 36 resources provided. As per the A thousand steps wind of fortune
Revocation
Three judgements of revocation were raised during the summit
Judgement 121
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Azir i Shartha
- Judgement: Wisdom requires that we apply what we have learnt. The Cardinal and his assembly are very keen on asking questions about false auras, and the answer from the Synod on the matter has been very clear. Even if Silas meets the approval of the Wisdom Assembly, he is failing the Synod and the Way. Should he be reelected, he is to be revoked.
- Outcome: Not upheld (530-591)
Judgement 199
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Lenarius Ankarien
- Judgement: For irregularities in their dealings with Axou, and following accusations of assisting the spreading of false virtue, we revoke Fintan Nighthaven from the position of Ambassador to Axou. This action has been requested by the Consul of the Senate.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (5-0)
Judgement 233
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Cato Hypation
- Judgement: I move that the Synod revokes Octavius of the White Citadel, current holder of the War Mage post. It is incumbent on Urizen to display the highest arete on the battlefield. Representations from our allies, whose trust is a critical resource, mean now is not Octavius’ time.
- Outcome: Upheld (112-54)
Challenge
One judgement of challenge was raised during the summit
Judgement 81
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Nathair Autumngale
- Judgement: Three years ago I dissuaded the claim that the Vallorn traps every spirit lost within it. I have since disputed again and again that the Vallorn is the Greatest Spiritual Threat to the Empire, and yet this Hearsay persists. A year ago this summit, I begged my nation to consider what steps we take for a single season, and not rush to our destruction with the same hubris as Terunael, and along with several others was ignored. I find my steps in the Great Dance uncertain when I think of them continuing on the path as Advisor on the Vallorn. If the Vallornguard are to be the tool through which Imperial efforts are focused. My tenureship would undermine their authority. If the role of Advisor is to change, its purpose would alter from that to which I was elected. Navarr choose who they follow. So I raise this challenge against myself, Nathair Autumngale, Advisor on the Vallorn. Let citizens display their virtue and suitability in pursuit of this position. And should the Vallornguard gain the responsibility, recognise their right to elect the title in working against our ancient enemy.
- Outcome: Upheld (128-10)
Inquisition
Forty-nine inquisitions were presented to the assemblies during the Summer Solstice
Judgement 8
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Melchior of Adina’s Charge
- Judgement: I call Corwyn Heartsbane to inquisition to ascertain the virtue of his choices and actions. He has been presented to this assembly as a potential living Exemplar of Courage. A thorough investigation of this need to be conducted. I ask him to meet me at the Adina’s Charge Camp at 1pm of the Saturday of this Summit.
- Outcome: Upheld (72-18)
Judgement 14
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Rafael Barossa d’Apulian
- Judgement: Yosephus Morningson preaches the creed of the Temple of Balance, asserting that citizens should seek balance between all seven Virtues, and that an excess of just one Virtue becomes vice instead, as in aphorisms like “Courage pursued without Wisdom is Foolhardiness.” I have concerns about this belief, specifically whether it meets the definition of the heresies of Excessionism and/or Unitarianism; and whether its application to the paragons reaches the standard of blasphemy. With that in mind, I call Yosephus Morningson to inquisition at 1530 on Saturday of the Summer Solstice 387YE, at the Shattered Tower tent in Highguard. Anyone with an interest in these topics is welcome to attend, but this does not imply permission to participate.

- Raised By: Kaspar Yakovitch von Holberg
- Judgement: I call Teodore duSesna of the Camorra DuSesna to Inquisition at the Autumn Summit 387YE, at a time and place to be arranged, that their accusations against Genoveva Barossa d’Apulian, Sofonisba Amilcara, Cesare Sanguineo Rezia di Tassato and Rafael Barossa d’Apulian may be thoroughly examined.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (292-0)
Judgement 28
- Assembly: Loyalty
- Raised By: Rinnah of the Shattered Tower
- Judgement: Rafael Barossa D’Apulian, do you know your heart? Does Dagon of the Shattered Tower command your devotion, above all else? Will you be truly Loyal, even through hardship and misfortune? The proof lies in the testing - we call you to Inquisition at the Autumn Equinox 387YE at a mutually agreed time and place to demonstrate the unity of your words and deeds.
- Outcome: Upheld (292-38)
Judgement 29
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Kalina

I testimonied you “Truth’s Footsteps” for I believe you walk in them. Walk in the lantern’s light, Gancio.
- Outcome: Upheld (786-80)
Judgement 76
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Lenarius Ankarien
- Judgement - Vindication: I hereby vindicate Umarth, the General of the Fist of the Mountain. Although the army was clearly influenced by the constellation of the Claw there is no evidence that Umarth knew, nor should have expected that this influence should have manifested. With regards to his views on the Jotun, I do not agree with all of his conclusions, but they come from logic. Not from Hate.
- Outcome: Upheld (792-58)
Judgement 88
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Frater Pontius of the Emberclad
- Judgement - Vindication: This Assembly has inquisited Ematius Ankarian, Archmage of Winter, on matters related to the Hag Queen. We find no cause to raise further sanction against him. In difficult and uncertain circumstances that might have caused others to falter, he acted with sufficient Virtue. Accordingly, as regards this matter, we vindicate him. Ematius, during your inquisition, you asked how you might act with greater Virtue. We commend that desire to grow in Virtue and, following your request, direct your attention to the maxim of Vigilance: “Seek out the poison in your neighbour’s fields, lest your own crops be blighted.” When you facilitate interaction with the Realm of Winter, exercise careful discernment not only in your own conduct, but in that of those who accompany you. Be watchful, for the Vigilant keeps eyes not only on the gate, but on the guest.
- Outcome: Upheld (116-0)
Judgement 91
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Sofonisba Amilcara of the City Below
- Judgement - Vindication: Lupita di Marcela di Catazar represented the League in the reckoning over Spiral. They acted with Loyalty not only to their nation but to all who have lost their homes; with Pride in their past and their present; with Courage in facing a task of daunting complexity. I vindicate them unreservedly, and have laid upon them the testimony ‘Fair Hand’.
- Outcome: Upheld (204-20)
Judgement 116
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Iniska Ashwood
- Judgement - Vindication: Kezandro i Riqueza assisted me in an experiment with a Vengeance hallow. He acted in Wisdom and Vigilance and has done this under the auspices of Judgement 42 (Winter 386) and has unhallowed the item. I find him a virtuous investigator.
- Outcome: Upheld (662-192)
Judgement 140
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Maarit Suvidottir
- Judgement - Penance: Escalating J185 Winter 386 for Kaisa Determination of Ice. Their personal failings of Courage are being addressed, the process has begun. They should keep on trusting their fellow Markers and overcoming their troubles cooperating.
- Outcome: Upheld (168-0)
Judgement 141
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Maarit Suvidottir
- Judgement - Penance: Escalation of J47 Spring 387 of Isolde Tempest Shield. I have inquisited Isolde Tempest Shield about the matter of her courage facing her internal life. She has recognised and talked of things with me, Ida, Athelric, Maximillian, and Unnr. A path forward for her has been agreed and she will face the truth of the swamp and adapt herself to learn its secrets and how to trust herself there.
- Outcome: Upheld (144-0)
Judgement 142
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Maarit Suvidottir
- Judgement - Vindication: This is escalating J80 Spring 387. After a successful Inquisition in Urizen I have cleared up the matter of my questions about theology and I am satisfied. Keep moving forwards in Virtue, I and others will support and listen to you.
- Outcome: Upheld (632-104)
Judgement 158
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Warsmith the Iron Way
- Judgement - Vindication: I would Exalt the coven, Song of Taniki, if I could. Their approach to wielding magic as a tool should serve as an inspiration to all. Through their actions they have shown an impeccable understanding and application of Virtue. I encourage others to speak to them and hear their deeds.
- Outcome: Upheld (234-0)
Judgement 161
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Oleander Ashwood
- Judgement - Vindication: Farrenthar Last Song (was Shattersong) knew what commanded his heart’s devotion in the actions he took - in part, an oath shared with his Thornborn to reclaim Liathaven. That loyalty in the face of seeming betrayal by others who shared that vision is what drove him in his final actions as general of the Quiet Step. I do not believe he intended to march the Quiet Step to Liathaven alone, only that the threat remind those sharing in his oath of the plan to join him that they had agreed with the evening prior. A conversation on virtue with Asenath and the resulting dedication to Loyalty was recounted in a way that speaks to his understanding of the nature and weight of the virtue that drove his actions. I do not claim to fully agree with the choices made, but I cannot argue with the virtue central to why they were made, and the virtue in the path forwards Farrenthar is choosing to walk.
- Outcome: Upheld (105-10)
Judgement 184
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Mikael Reskovich
- Judgement - Castigation: Varushka, the Falconer, Tulpa of the Claw constellation seeks to spread the influence of its idolatrous cult across Varushka. They offer “power” in return for the blood sacrifice of the weakest among us, a concept unheard of in any good vale in our beloved homeland. If sacrificing Mieriada for peace breaks our hearts, what would break if we sacrifice everything we hold dear? This is a bargain of no benefit to us.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (266-0)
Judgement 203
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Caspian i Sharthra i Riqueza
- Judgement - Vindication: ((Written and paid for by Azir i Shartha i Riqueza, Inquisitor of Ambition)) In Winter 386YE, the Coven of the Horned Hare was subject to Inquisition by a team led by then Inquisitor Sebastiano di Sarvos. Following this, we find no evidence that the coven have subsumed their will to the Eternal Irra Harah, they have however demonstrated virtue and benevolence in their magic; worked on the farms of Wintermark, the Imperial battlefield, for the victims of the Druj. They are vindicated.
- Outcome: Upheld (512-58)
Judgement 209
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Dolce di Sarvos
- Judgement - Penance: After inquisiting the Merchant Prince of Misericorde Market, I find his eagerness towards his Virtues admirable, however there is room for improvement in his practices with the Sandfishers. I believe Jonah Yakovitch von Holberg is inadvertently stemming the progression of the Sandfisher’s Pride by applying pressure to take on Holberg culture which could be taken as conditions for their freedom. (A full report may be provided by letter, and posted in the hub next summit). I ask that Jonah, as Penance, empowers the Sandfishers to discover and solidify their own culture guided by the Way.
- Outcome: Not upheld (44-160)
Judgement 218
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Masha Sigeling
- Judgement - Penance: Belakov Zakharov Prochnost, your Virtue has been weighed and measured. You are strong in Virtue, yet do you truly know your Virtue away from titles and civil service records? For the next year, find and strengthen the Virtue in you. Then, return to me, and I will support your bid before the gatekeepers.
- Outcome: Upheld (594-14)
Judgement 220
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Lumen of Ordraig
- Judgement - Vindication: In the inquisition of Zoran de Orzel, which was necessitated due to a lack of one when Emmeline Weaver put in her judgement of Revocation. Zoran’s virtue was exhaustively examined and the priests present found him to have acted properly and accordingly in his time as General. This inquisition found his actions caused no harm to the Empire, and comported himself as a Virtuous officer of the Empire at all times.
- Outcome: Upheld (100-20)
Judgement 223
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Lepidina
- Judgement - Penance: While Finna is a skilled ambassador who usually conducts her work with virtue, she has erred grievously in recent actions. As a result, I set the following penances in order to allow her to redeem herself: spread apologetic pamphlets by Winter. Destroy freedom sash. Hallow other with Hallowing of the Stormcrow (Wisdom, min strength 2). Seek those who have expressed interest in false virtue and put back on the path of true virtue. Attend at least 1 meeting per summit with respected and experienced investigative theologians - do not work alone.
- Outcome: Upheld (318-86)
Judgement 229
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Gaelen Embercast
- Judgement - Penance: Iniska Ashwood took upon themselves a hallowing of Peace. They did this in dedication to true virtue and aid in the spread of the Way to Axos as well as in service to their binding of thorns. Their loyalty and ambition should be praised, but in not foreseeing the far-reaching impact of their decision I find they could have benefited from the guidance of Vigilance. As penance, I charge them to keep an item hallowed to Vigilance on them for a year.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Judgement 236
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Sam Wych
- Judgement - Vindication: The Vigilance Assembly wholeheartedly vindicates Robin Blackthorn and Twig of Varushka for trusting their instincts and eliminating dangerous Jotun individuals instead of allowing them to be given a powerful magic item by an eternal, risking their lives when the laws guidance was unclear.
- Outcome: Upheld (184-0)
Judgement 258
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Sabella the Cardinal of Loyalty
- Judgement - Penance: On the behalf of the Assembly of Nine, I have inquisited Viviane Barossa, Former Cardinal of Ambition around their choice to carry an item hallowed to a False Virtue. She confirmed her motivation guided by her Ambition for the Way & the Empire. The Assembly of Nine were fully informed the False Virtue is intended to be removed in a fixed time. There was no evidence of preaching against doctrine. There was no evidence of intention to denigrate true virtue. Exemplars or Paragons. This therefore meets the requirements of Judgement 42 of the Winter Solstice 386YE. In Penance Viviane will destroy the hallowed item.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Judgement 259
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Luca i Taziel i Riqueza
- Judgement - Condemnation: There is no question. Aunty Hem knowingly and willingly became dedicated to Freedom in Axos. She knowingly and willingly shared her Dedication with others when asked. She did not share their names when asked. The Assembly of Nine asks that should the verdict be death a Freeborn takes their life.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Judgement 260
- Assembly: Nine
- Raised By: Silas of the Cenotaph
- Judgement - Condemnation: On behalf of the Imperial Inquisitor: (Judgement 148 after inquisition) Fintan Nighthaven has been found guilty of incontestable acts of blasphemy and abuse of priestly powers. His work as an agent of Peace has harmed both the Empire and the Citadels of Axos. He lied to the Vigilance Assembly and the Greater Synod to gain true liao that he used to create an artifact shield of Peace. He brought false hallows under false pretences to the Ao9. His provision of significant liao facilitated a mandate of unity in Axos. This cannot stand.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (8-0)
Recognition
The following judgements of recognition were raised during the summit.
Judgement 96
- Assembly: Loyalty
- Raised By: Father Edmund
- Judgement: Tom Drake, Exemplar of Loyalty. Inspiration - the Drakes still fight in his name! Legacy - founded the Military Council! Salvation - Fought Alderei the Fair, dying to save Varushka and the Empire! Benevolence - sacrificed his pride for the sovereignty of the Marches, and all Imperial nations! Through times of great change, Tom Drake remained always Loyal and devoted to the Marches.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (460-20)
Judgement 106
- Assembly: Pride
- Raised By: Nisha Strascovich
- Judgement: Through war, words, spirit and song, Starac Orzel has displayed Pride not through idle boasting, but through tireless action. In every office he has held - Field Marshal, Ambassador, Guardian and Quartermaster General - he has inspired uplifted stranger and friend. He has led victorious campaigns to reclaim Imperial glory; he has rescued our people from the jaws of horror and restored lost artifacts and rites to our shared spirit. His Pride is not one of arrogance but of stewardship - of carrying the Empire’s legacy with unshakable virtue. Starac does not shrink from his past, nor hide it in shame. He bears it openly, with honour. He uplifts others through example, never with scorn. And he has never faltered in his duty - not to himself, not to Virtue, the Empire. For these reasons and more, I invite my sibling Priests to recognise Starac Sijed Orzel as an Exemplar of Pride.
- Outcome: Withdrawn

- Outcome: Not upheld (210-0)
Judgement 225
- Assembly: Pride
- Raised By: Olyvar of Esther’s Sanctum
- Judgement: Following the inquisition led by the Imperial Chaplain Consular last season, the Pride Assembly exalts Kindra Surefoot in her diplomatic work on the treaty with the Thule. We could not have had the treaty presented without her Virtuous action, diplomatic excellence and respect and uplifting of both Imperial and Thule. We see her inspiration, and we call for her exaltation to all Prideful citizens.

- Judgement: We recognise the AMBITION of Halkyon of the Myriad Stream in bringing together the voices of Urizen Spiralites in the Spiral Council, and their vision in recovering the knowledge of ages and rebuilding dreaming spires in Spiral. Inspired by the art of the Capodomus Cathedral, let us build up their own resource so that their congregation may grow and likewise illuminate our own paths to perfection.

Judgement 19
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Laurencio di Sarvos
- Judgement: The Empire celebrates the Vigilance and Vision of Shaun di Vergo and Giacomo Corvinoscuro. Only their foresight and planning prevented the city of Sarvos being sacked by the Children of Wrecks this season past. The Synod rewards them with Fourteen Thrones apiece in recognition for what they have done - and so they may complete the next phase of coastal defences in readiness for the next attack which seems inevitable..
- Outcome: Not Upheld (544-594)
Judgement 21
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Brother Rise

Judgement 36
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Neala Blackhawk
- Judgement: Corwyn Heartsbane Spear of the Seven is known within Navarr as the One-Man-Brokers-Council. This Virtuous man was the lynchpin that funded 2 Wayhouses - The Last Battle and Austin’s Rest. Virtue is in action. Let these acts be rewarded. I ask for a rewarding of 7 Thrones for Corwyn, Spear of the Seven.
- Outcome: Not Upheld (453-558)
Judgement 37
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Winifred Blackhawk
- Judgement: Seth Blackhawk, Captain of Training, founder and chief instructor of the Blackhawk school of combat and creator of the Thorn Cup. Actions have consequences. Seth’s ambition to continuously train Navarr to ensure they are ready for the final fight against the vallorn and the Empire’s enemies is unmatched. He strives to engage as many navarri as possible, Thorns, Vates, Vines and Guides because he sees the long term goal of the nation and has the ambition to make it happen. Creating cohesion in the battlefield and within the nation. These virtuous acts should be rewarded.
- Outcome: Upheld (159-88)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 193
Judgement 59
- Assembly: General

We reward Idwyn Splitroot, Dean of the First Voice Glade, with 8 wains of weirwood to rebuild the now consecrated, but still ruined, First Voice Glade and bardic school in memory of the Exemplar of Pride Gerallt Brackensong. We will “pay our bards” and recognise that in doing so we promote the virtues of Loyalty, Pride and Ambition, as well as support the virtuous work that bards, artists and entertainers perform across the Empire.
- Outcome: Upheld (740-498)
Judgement 77
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Novella di Sarvos
- Judgement: Prosperity abhors waste - but even in waste there can be Virtue. The Synod recognises the hard work of Luca Lucati di Sarvos the enterprising young citizen behind Sarvos Sanitation Services who, each summit, travels the camps of Anvil collecting sacks of rubbish and disposing of them for a few rings. This enterprise not only spares the time and labour of other citizens, but also helps keep Anvil more pleasant for all attendees. It is an example of a Prosperous entrepreneurial spirit and the kind of Virtue that benefits many beyond its immediate impact. The Synod rewards Luca Lucati with Seven Thrones for this work.
- Outcome: Upheld (636-401)
Judgement 82
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Godfrey of the Emberclad
- Judgement: Inspired by the sermon of Archbishop Estella, that invigorated the Ambition of the Empire, we ask the pilgrims of Highguard to reward Frater Pontius of the Emberclad. While not all his views are universally shared, we know that a multitude of virtuous voices strengthens the nation. Though newly come to our nation, his vigour and ambition in pursuit of Virtue have been exemplary. In less than a year since he first came to Anvil, he has performed over 100 ceremonies, especially insight and exorcism, offered many free anointings from his own liao to Highborn before battle, secured an Imperial title to aid the national Insight committee, hallowed a relic of Ambition for public use, supported the founding of a Fellowship of the Vigilant, inquisited an Archmage to uphold Vigilance, and both authored and edited religious texts. The Ambition and sincerity of his actions merit recognition. Let us reward such faithful and tireless service.
- Outcome: Not upheld (112-244)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 190 and Judgement 201

- Outcome: Not upheld (414-562)
Judgement 86
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Brynmor Rootround
- Judgement: Last season, Eleven Imperial Captains, prompted by the Advisor on the Vallorn, Nathair Autumngale, chose to support the Spy Network located of the Broch, to seek out Druj who had escaped from The Barrens, to Dark Ranging of Broceliande. They did so with no promise of compensation, or certainty of success with the venture. But succeed they have, and have rooted out a Druj cult living amongst the Vallorn. We seek a rewarding of Eleven Thrones to be distributed amongst these military captains, many of whom had been enchanted for other ventures and elected to forego those pursuits to address this threat at their own expense. They have displayed Vigilance. Let us in turn show them Prosperity. The names of these captains follow: Mordrain Sepulchre, Reynard Forester, Corwyn Heartsbane, Egan Brightmoss, Percival Summerstrong, Olek A’Hagen ne Ossium, Kyffin Thornfield, Ser Drayvana of Lucentia, Rhyffyllann Kraken’s Crawl, Konnor Luthar, Logan Tallstag.
- Outcome: Upheld (586-421)
Judgement 94
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Alfredo Barossa
- Judgement: Alfredo Barossa seeks 8 thrones from the Virtue Fund to help cover the administration costs of the proposed Society of Recognition. New Imperial sodalities cost 4 thrones a season in upkeep and it is important that we have at least a year’s worth of upkeep in hand to show the sodality’s viability to the Senate at the next Anvil summit during the Autumn equinox. Another Judgement of Rewarding will be put forward next season to spread the ask across two seasons. If the proposal for a new imperial sodality is rejected by the Senate, the 16 thrones will be donated back to the Virtue Fund.
- Outcome: Not upheld (384-685)
Judgement 98
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Magdelena Alanga

- Outcome: Not upheld (403-536)
Judgement 99
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Athiel Westernborn of the Cenotaph
- Judgement: With the blessing of the Assembly of the Nine (Judgement 212 Autumn 386YE) I request 62 thrones to be disbursed to the Imperial Treasury to offset the cost of our fight to spread the Way in Asavea. Consequences are the price of Ambition. We are ready to pay the cost.

- Judgement: Juniper Du Froste should not just be recognised, she should be rewarded. The rebuilding of Drycastle is a mighty achievement and for generations to come the people of Dawn will be inspired by its glorious stature - a great life leaves a legend and Drycastle is an edifice to hers. Let Juniper Du Froste be Rewarded! Her ambitions will bring prosperity to Dawn by funding further Dawnish projects.
- Outcome: Upheld (148-36)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 186
Judgement 177
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Ivana Petara Vodjavic
- Judgement: Velko Perunovich Razoradze, first native-born Ossian senator, has risen high in achieving his Ambition since being freed from the yoke of the Druj 4 years ago. He exemplifies the Varushkan values of preparing for difficult choices, setting aside his personal qualms to bring the Ketsov into the fold in order to defeat creatures that menace Ossium and Varushka.
- Outcome: Upheld (160-24)
Judgement 186
- Assembly: Dawnish
- Raised By: Persephone Callahan
- Judgement: Virtue is not merely words but deeds. We recognise the efforts of Sibylla Goldfield, Strategos of Dawn in striving to save lives as Strategos and restore her House through her Test of Mettle. Nobility is an achievement, not a birthright and Sibylla is working hard to complete her Test and achieve her ambition to be Earl of her House.
- Outcome: Not upheld (48-70)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 173
Judgement 190
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Eli of the Cenotaph
- Judgement: We seek to reward Rebekah of the Cenotaph for her work in uncovering and collating information about the new eternal threatening the Bay of Catazar. Her peerless pursuit of this task is a demonstration of the commitment that the Virtue of Ambition demands.
- Outcome: Upheld (252-70)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 82 and Judgement 201
Judgement 193
- Assembly: Navarr
- Raised By: Oleander Ashwood
- Judgement: Cadwell Waystone, the last general of Isaella’s Dance, and newly elected general of the Black Thorns, is deeply familiar with the price we pay to achieve our dreams. His ambition is one of many of us share - a future where no child has to swear a Binding of Thorns again, free from the threat of the Vallorn. However, his unwavering path towards this goal is where his Ambition’s light shines most brightly- an active seeking of steps to take on this path and pushing ever forwards. He knows, and embodies, that Actions have Consequences - the Dance fell whilst being the spearpoint driving free from the maw of Druj magic ensnaring Imperial forces, a sacrifice that spared even greater losses. Navarr - build up those among us who dare to dream, and who know dreaming’s cost.
- Outcome: Upheld (136-0)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 37
Judgement 201
- Assembly: Highborn
- Raised By: Delilah of the Autumn’s Eye
- Judgement: We the Highguard Assembly seek to recognise and reward Ardeniel of the Woodwych Harts for his relentless work in Hallowing the coronation bells and ensuring all involved priests were rewarded for their efforts. His work is an inspiration to all Highguard.
- Outcome: Upheld (234-20)
- Note: The judgement was in competition with Judgement 82 and Judgement 190
Judgement 205
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Trencher Smoulder In the Cold
- Judgement: In Wintermark a hero earns their name. Ulrik the unbroken under ogre of Corvenhall has been so heroic they’ve earnt two. For showing relentless courage despite ruined limbs and single-handedly fighting an Ogre. Let the people of Wintermark see their Ambition to lead brave warriors and flock to their military unit.
- Outcome: Upheld (198-10)
- Note: It is unclear who this judgement is referring to
Judgement 227
- Assembly: Imperial Orc
- Raised By: Bloodcrow Knott
- Judgement: The words of the Ancestors grow stronger in Anvil. They thunder in Orc ears at the Sentinel Gate, they observe the power that flows from the Imperial Regio, and last summit, our Shamans, heard them speak of Legends in the pit. Once again, the Consecration of Capodomus Cathedral calls out for an Ambition, and once again, the Shamans of Anvil answer with the words of Ancestors. The second gathering of “Audience of the Ancestors” speaks, and the Unshackled National Assembly echoes their words. We name Ebonmaw Gra’sh and their Ambition build an Imperial College of Magic for the Tamazi in Mareave to be recognised by all Imperial Orcs. Gather your strength and help them build up their resource. May their Legend carry them Across the Abyss!
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (52-0)
Judgement 230
- Assembly: Freeborn
- Raised By: Xanthe i Rincón i Guerra
- Judgement: In recognition of their Ambitious work on behalf of the families of the Coast, we shall take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Capodomus Cathedral to grant an upgraded resource to Rashid i Hayim i Riqueza.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (162-0)
Special Considerations
The following considerations should be borne in mind when bringing judgements before the Imperial Synod during the Summer Solstice.
| Assembly | Consideration | Link | Duration |
| All Assemblies | Statements that prioritise the greater good over personal loyalties are less effective. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Statements that try to compel Loyalty will fail. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Revocations and Excommunications for disloyalty to the nation or Empire risk causing dissent. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Any mandate that does not pass with a greater majority will have limited or no effect on Urizen or Varushka. It is not impossible that a mandate might lead to a response in one of the two nations, but it won't lead to any immediate consequences for the people of the nation. | Urizen Link Varushka Link | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Any mandate that does not pass with a greater majority will have limited or no effect on Wintermark unless enacted by the Wintermark Assembly. It is not impossible that a mandate might lead to a response in the nation, but it won't lead to any immediate consequences for the people of the nation. | The final cut | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Statements that stress the need to follow Imperial law rather than virtue will be unlikely to lead to a mandate. | Knocking on every door | Ongoing |
| League Assembly | No statement of principle raised by the League Assembly that calls on citizens to support a different cause will have an effect. | The war of thorns and flowers | Until Spring 388YE |
| Varushkan Assembly | No statement of principle raised by the Varushkan Assembly that calls on citizens to support a different cause will have an effect. | The war of thorns and flowers | Until Spring 388YE |
