Statement of Principle
Mandate
Eight mandates were presented to the assemblies during the Autumn Equinox
Judgement 6
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Herminius of the House of the Wanderer
- Judgement: Mercy is weakness. Mercy shows the enemy your limits. We send Herminius of the House of the Wanderer with 50 doses of liao to urge all Loyal Urizeni to hunt down the Disciples of Sulemaine and show them the blade. Find your enemy's limits and go beyond them
- Outcome: Withdrawn (66-0)
Judgement 17
- Assembly: Wisdom
- Raised By: Gwen Tendfallen
- Judgement: Wisdom is finding the right question. We send Gwen Tendfallen with 50 doses of liao to encourage devotees of Wisdom to carefully investigate false virtues. Test what we learn about malign spiritual auras is the highest calling of this assembly
- Outcome: Not Upheld (128-236)
Judgement 64
- Assembly: Varushkan
- Raised By: Jaromir Ostrovyn Kostka
- Judgement: Seek out the poison! We send Jaromir Ostrovyn Kostka with 75 doses of liao to urge Varushkans to move against those who would spread blasphemy and heresy. Tolerate no folly and guide the law's hand to inflict the punishment that has been earned.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (360-0)
Judgement 83
- Assembly: Urizen
- Raised By: Solas of the Spire of the Waxing Sun
- Judgement: Captains of Urizen! There is a poison in our fields. The Disciples of Sulemaine threaten by spreading the Blasphemy of Hatred, an idea long since tested and discarded as lacking. We send Herminius of the House of the Wanderer with 50 doses of liao to urge all to go forth and excise this pestilence from our home.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (258-0)
Judgement 127
- Assembly: League
- Raised By: Cosimo Argyra
- Judgement: Be alert to all dangers; within and without! The Silent Manse in the Sarcophan Enclave is a spiritual threat to the wellbeing of all. The only way to avoid blasphemy and heresy is to have nothing to do with this profane temple. We send Cosimo Argyra with 25 doses of liao to urge all Imperial citizens planning to visit the estates to express only polite and civil disinterest in their unvirtuous religion.
- Outcome: Upheld (216-0)
Judgement 128
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Ingrid Talon-of-the-Mark
- Judgement: The meeting hall at Gull Island will be completed for the Winter Solstice. Yet until a meeting has taken place there it is just a hall. We send Ingrid Talon-of-the-Mark with 25 doses of liao to spread word of the Hall both in Wintermark and in the lands of the Jotun. Let the Ghodi bring their people to join with the folk of Wintermark to see what bridge may be built.
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (284-0)
Judgement 140
- Assembly: Wintermark
- Raised By: Torin
- Judgement: We send Eevi of the Gadrai with 5 doses of liao to urge those who know Valdr Grieversonn well to encourage him to talk to the Assembly
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (284-0)
Judgement 166
- Assembly: Vigilance
- Raised By: Vasilmir Radovanovna Esskivic
- Judgement: Seek out falsehood and expose the truth. We send Vasilmir Radovanovna Esskivic with 25 doses of liao to urge Wintermarkers and Varushkans to work together to seek out and oppose the false Virtues at every turn. Let us seek out the poison in our neighbours fields.
- Outcome: Upheld (292-0)
Writ of Consecration
One writ of consecration was presented to the assemblies during the Autumn Equinox
Judgement 21
- Assembly: Loyalty
- Raised By: Alfredo Barossa
- Judgement: In the days before the Empire, the Jotun and Wintermark erected a stone, which became known simply as the Meeting Place. For many generations Jotun and Empire could meet there, be Loyal to their values and bind themselves with oaths - over time a hall grew up on the site and honour and virtue flowed from it. In recent times that hall was destroyed and the stone smashed. Ignominious death and dishonour have abounded between Jotun and Imperials since. Now at last, the Empire and Jotun have jointly rebuilt the feasting hall and wish to call it the Meeting Place once more. This is a place of Honour and Virtue, a place to be Loyal to our values, ourselves, the oaths we swear and the treaties we sign. Having sought the Jotun's agreement, I ask the Assembly for a Writ of Consecration, to dedicate part of the site to Loyalty using a dose of True Liao donated by Erland, in the hope the Jotun accept this offer in the spirit it is intended.
- Outcome: Not Upheld (412-26)
Revocation
Challenge
Inquisition
Sanction
Recognition
Three recognitions were raised during the Autumn Equinox
Judgement 4
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Father Edmund
- Judgement: Tom Drake, Exemplar of Loyalty. Inspiration - the Drakes still fight in his name! Legacy - founded the Military Council! Salvation - Fought Alderei the Fair, dying to save Varushka and the Empire! Benevolence - sacrificed his pride for the sovereignty of the Marches, and all Imperial nations! Through times of great change, Tom Drake remained always Loyal and devoted to the Marches.
- Outcome: Upheld (1280-162)
Judgement 37
- Assembly: General
- Raised By: Tarquinius Ankarien
- Judgement: While it has not been raised since at least before Britta, the law is clear that the Synod has the option to recognise a person in this fashion if they truly deserve it. I name Fintan Nighthaven as a false Exemplar of Peace. His choices make it clear what the path of peace looks like and where it leads. The signs are not required or expected to recognise an exemplar of a false virtue, but his actions have been impactful at the level of legacy (obtaining ilium and true liao to create a peace relic) or inspiration (arranging the peace hallows for our cardinals)
- Outcome: Not Upheld (620-210)
Judgement 50
- Assembly: Pride
- Raised By: Nisha Strascovich
- Judgement: Starac Orzel is a living Exemplar of Pride and strong enough in mind, body and virtue to carry this weight. Liberation: Starac's selfless sacrifice, repeatedly facing death for the Empire, could be viewed as transcending mortal ties - readiness for spiritual liberation. Recognition: Starac has been repeatedly honoured in key Imperial roles, Gatekeepr, Quartermaster, General, Field Marshal, Battle Mage of Dawn and Voice of Varushka. His is success in war, diplomacy, and magic make him a shining example of Imperial Virtue. Benevolence: Starac saved the children of Dark Heart, prevented unnecessary bloodshed, made reforms as quartermaster improving military budgets, ensured equitable access to Summer ritual and funded the Statue of Eleonaris himself when Imperial funds were short benefiting the Empire. Inspiration: Starac is celebrated for inspiring troops to persevere at Holberg, earning him the Equine Rod from Barien and raising national morale. His creative efforts have enriched Imperial culture and spirit, and his influence reaches from motivating Dawn in Anvil to uplifting many others to realize their hidden potential. Miracle: The prophetic nature of his art (Malsanguino), the miraculous return of the Knights of Glory ritual, and the spontaneous founding of the Golden Causeway all border on miraculous events guided by Virtue. Pilgrimage: Starac undertook a spiritual journey walking the consecrated Maze of Zoria. His work across several Imperial nations shows his commmitment to both spiritual and physical service. Legacy: He founded the first Dawn Glory Square in 378YE, nurturing it for a decade into a central hub of Dawn's culture. He helped rediscover and legitimize the Maze of Zoria through civil service channels. Starac has retrieved lost relics and ritual and created ripples where he has inspired others.
- Outcome: Withdrawn
Exaltation
Six exaltations were raised during the Autumn Equinox
Judgement 18
- Assembly: Courage
- Raised By: Melchior of Adina's Charge
- Judgement: Corwyn Heartsbane was presented to this assembly as a potential living exemplar of Courage. Having carried out his inquisition I now call his exaltation. Whether he should be named exemplar is a future decision for this assembly but for now his tireless dedication to the path of courage should be a beacon to us all. Amongst other acts he has led the creation of the Vallornguard and the construction of the Navarri wayhouses inspiring others to follow his lead and take the first steps with him. I ask every member of the assembly to speak to him before voting and to listen to the words of his journey
- Outcome: Upheld with a Greater Majority (248-0)
- Notes: Corwyn Heartsbane has been added to the Roll of the Exalted

Rewarding
Special Considerations
The following considerations should be borne in mind when bringing judgements before the Imperial Synod during the Summer Solstice.
| Assembly | Consideration | Link | Duration |
| All Assemblies | Statements that prioritise the greater good over personal loyalties are less effective. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Statements that try to compel Loyalty will fail. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Revocations and Excommunications for disloyalty to the nation or Empire risk causing dissent. | Eyes of Loyalty | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Any mandate that does not pass with a greater majority will have limited or no effect on Urizen or Varushka. It is not impossible that a mandate might lead to a response in one of the two nations, but it won't lead to any immediate consequences for the people of the nation. | Urizen Link Varushka Link | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Any mandate that does not pass with a greater majority will have limited or no effect on Wintermark unless enacted by the Wintermark Assembly. It is not impossible that a mandate might lead to a response in the nation, but it won't lead to any immediate consequences for the people of the nation. | The final cut | Ongoing |
| All Assemblies | Statements that stress the need to follow Imperial law rather than virtue will be unlikely to lead to a mandate. | Knocking on every door | Ongoing |
| League Assembly | No statement of principle raised by the League Assembly that calls on citizens to support a different cause will have an effect. | The war of thorns and flowers | Until Winter 387YE |
| Varushkan Assembly | No statement of principle raised by the Varushkan Assembly that calls on citizens to support a different cause will have an effect. | The war of thorns and flowers | Until Winter 387YE |
