Overview

In Spring 382YE, the Imperial Senate voted to create a roll of benefactors. The roll creates a permanent list of Imperial citizens who have made significant, prosperous contributions to the implementation of approved senate motions. Named “Benefactors of the Empire”, the Assembly of Prosperity is responsible for adding names to the list.

The Roll of Benefactors changed after the Spring Equinox 386YE. Tom Appleseed enacted a mandate upheld by the General Assembly of the Synod to consecrate the shrine at Good Walder's Orchard to Prosperity. More information can be found on the The Prosperity of Good Walder wind of fortune.

Order of the Sack

Once each season the Assembly of Prosperity can use a statement of principle to name a virtuous citizen, along with the deeds they have undertaken that are truly prosperous. If the statement achieves a greater majority (if there are multiple statements raised in the same season, only the one with the greatest margin will be successful), that person will be marked as someone worthy of the generosity of the virtuous. The Order of the Sack, and other priests who preach Prosperity, will ensure the judgement was spread far and wide, especially among those who might do business with the named individual.

Provided their personal resource was not upgraded, over the coming season it will be improved by one rank without needing to use any wains or money. If their personal resource is already upgraded, then it will be increased by three ranks for the following season only.

Their name and deeds would also be added to the roll of benefactors as a "prosperous spirit."

Benefactors of the Empire

Heilyn Bronwen's Rest

Heilyn was added to the Roll of Benefactors during the Spring Equinox 383YE by Darien Numbers. The judgement was upheld by 246 votes to 0.

Heilyn Bronwen's Rest was recognised for their tireless and never-ending work in his position of Warmage. They are scrupulous in ensuring every ring spent gives the maximum impact for the Imperial war effort. They ensure all mages who assist are treated fairly and with prosperity in mind in every detail. They make certain that everyone who assists in gathering the materials required gives real value to the Imperial treasury, whilst also remaining prosperous. These qualities have created a strong network of trusted citizens they can call upon to drive bigger and better works of magic every season.
