Urizen Lore

This ritual is part of Urizen lore rather than Imperial Lore. Any Urizen character with the appropriate lore can master or perform this ritual. A character from another nation who mastered the ritual before it became part of Urizen lore may still perform it, but does so under the usual rules for performing a ritual learned from a ritual text.

Performing the Ritual

Performing this ritual takes at least 2 minutes of roleplaying. This ritual targets a character, who must be present throughout. The character must possess the Dedication skill.

This ritual is an enchantment. A target may only be under one enchantment effect at a time.

Effects

The target gains the ability to use liao to remove an aura on a person, location, or item exactly as if they were using the anointing, consecration, or hallowing skill. The character can cooperate with other characters using the appropriate skill or the benefits of this enchantment to help destroy a more powerful aura following all the normal rules.

When removing a durable aura, the enchantment allows the character to spend up to two additional doses of liao to increase the strength of the ceremony by the same amount.

The ritual paradoxically creates it's own roleplaying effect; you become keenly aware of the importance of exercising free will without external influence.

The effect lasts until the start of the next Profound Decisions Empire event.

Additional Targets

This ritual can affect additional characters from the same sect. Each additional character increases the magnitude by 10. Additional characters must be present throughout.
