Most important Imperial titles are reelected annually on a rolling schedule, for instance if a nation has four senators they will be elected one each season.
Most significant Imperial titles are reelected annually on a specific date, for instance an election for the title of Senator of Madruga is held every summit at the Winter Solstice. If the title dies, is revoked or steps down then the title becomes vacant; it is re-elected at the earliest practical opportunity but an election for the title still takes place at the normal date.

If it's one of the Imperial appointments by the Senate however, the citizen may serve for a year from the summit where they were appointed (unless revoked or the title has tenure and serves for life). It becomes eligible for reappointment anytime during the equivalent summit one year later. The incumbent remains in position until replaced or the end of the event - whichever comes sooner. Consequently these potentially change seasons and thus are specifically marked.
Some Imperial titles appointed by the Senate serve for a year from the summit where they were appointed. Such a title becomes eligible for reappointment at anytime during the summit one year later. The incumbent remains in position until replaced or the end of the event - whichever comes sooner.

For the name of the character holding a particular title then please refer to the current Imperial titles page.

Unless death, misfortune or the Synod intervene, the current election schedule is as below.

Overview

Most significant Imperial titles are reelected annually on a specific date, for instance an election for the title of Senator of Madruga is held every summit at the Winter Solstice. If the title dies, is revoked or steps down then the title becomes vacant; it is re-elected at the earliest practical opportunity but an election for the title still takes place at the normal date.

Some Imperial titles appointed by the Senate serve for a year from the summit where they were appointed. Such a title becomes eligible for reappointment at anytime during the summit one year later. The incumbent remains in position until replaced or the end of the event - whichever comes sooner.
