Visions

Sometimes players will get visions. Telling players they should get visions isn’t something GOD typically needs to do proactively – you’ll be told if you need to tell a player they’re getting a vision – but players do frequently come to GOD to pick up visions they’ve been told they should receive, e.g. because they cast The Somnolent Wanderer the day before.

Typically Plot will put visions up on the Plot Wiki which you may or may not have access to. Erin and Adam both have access; ask them if they’re available. The Plot team don’t have a clear naming scheme for these pages, but they’ll typically be called something like “Visions E2-2023” and will link to the specific documents to print. If the documents aren’t on the wiki yet, or you’re not able to get access or find someone who has access, either ask the Plot team on the radio or just go down to the Matt Cave to ask if the specific vision is available.

You also may be asked for Goosewhisper visions which are usually stored on the ref desk in a plastic bag. Ideally ask the player for proof that they've taken the infusion (they will often have the ripped up lammy) and then let them pick out a piece of paper from the bag. The player gets to look at it for as long as they want but must not speak, show the paper to anyone or write anything down until they've given the vision back. The lovely refs on the ref desk will be able to explain this process/show you/ do it themselves if you'd rather.
