I need to report a
conduct problem.
You can go to GOD, or ask anyone with a radio to contact someone from conduct for you. Or if you prefer, you can email the conduct team after the event.
Are you at
an event?
You can email conduct@profounddecisions.co.uk at any time between events.
If you choose to report at the event, a conduct team member will arrive to see you as soon as possible.
You will get a response to say your email has been received within 24 hours.
The conduct team member will ask you to tell them what happened and record any information you feel comfortable sharing.
Someone from Conduct will read your report and be in touch with you within two weeks.
We will ask you how you would like us to proceed.
A permanent record will be made of your report.
Do you want to
stay anonymous?
Conduct will investigate your report. This will include speaking to other people involved, including the person you feel broke the conduct.
Your report will be treated as corroborating evidence if there are any other complaints about this person at any point.
Conduct will meet to decide on the outcome of the report and any sanctions necessary.
If a report has already been made about this person such that they would receive a sanction at the point they re-offend – ie they have a previous anonymous report, or a previous warning - then they will now receive a sanction.
Possible outcomes are: A caution, a formal warning (with or without additional restrictions), or a permanent ban.
You will be informed of the outcome within two weeks.
If the report is taking longer to resolve – eg, because other people need to be contacted, or because volunteers are unavailable to handle the report immediately – you will be kept up to date every two weeks.
If at a later date the person receives a sanction that is relevant to your report – eg, because another report is made against them - you will be updated to keep you informed.
