Keeper of the Study
Overview
The Keeper of the Study is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of the Marches. The motion to construct the Landskeeper's Study was passed by the Imperial Senate in Autumn 386YE. The Keeper of the Study is expected to spread knowledge of the magical arts used to enchant farms and to encourage the use of such rituals to help feed the Empire. The title was created as a result of an opportunity presented in the Thresher's summer wind of fortune.
Responsibilities
The Keeper of the Study has a responsibility to help spread knowledge of the magical arts used to enchant farms and to encourage the use of such rituals to help feed the Empire. If the Landskeeper's Study, or the traders who visit, were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Keeper of the Study to deal with those threats.

As a ministry, the Keeper of the Study can purchase stores of mana crystals at a set price. The Keeper spends their money and makes their choices during downtime from their character page. Money is removed from, and resources are placed into, the character's inventory when the downtime is processed.
The Landskeeper's Study benefits from a synergy with the Monastery of the Four Winds. For as long as the monastery remains in good standing the amount of mana crystals available to purchase is increased by one per rank, included above.
Appointment
The Keeper of the Study is appointed during the Winter Solstice each year. It is chosen by unanimous decision of the senators of the Marches. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, the title may be appointed by the Imperial Senate instead.
The title can be held by a Marcher citizen. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the Marches National Assembly, and by the Assembly of the Nine.
