| The massive stone pillared entrance to Vales Might is flanked by two huge stone and metal braziers each brazier has the rune of pallas carved upon them. These are lit during the winter months to guide hunters, traders and other folk who may be lost in the ferocious blizzards that sweep across wintermark back to a place of warmth and safety. Vales might stands almost in the shadow of its sister sinecure the Valley of pride. It is located in the foot of the nearby cliffs and high hills that stand just outside the village of Woodhall. The Wintermark hall of Hendle hearth can been seen from the entrance to vales might and is a mear few minutes’ walk away, Southridge and Woodheath lie less than a days travel away in opposite directions from the impressive entrance to this sinecure. To gain access here you must first pass the huge doors that are designed to hold fast against the worst of winter storms or the most ferocious and determined of attacker these banded and studded doors will not bend or break against the storm. Once inside and past the guard stations and barrier doors that litter the access corridor you must follow the twists and turns as it snakes its way down level by level deeper and deeper into the depths of the ground. Here you travel through many different types of rock, stone and crystal until you reach the sinecure in earnest. After you have passed the last mighty door which if closed would bar your access the corridor opens out in to several huge caverns all covered in massive glowing crystals that pulse with energy. A lake of almost silver water is spread thinly across the bottom of the caverns and all of the crystals can be seen to have grown over the decades from the water. Walkways and crystal collecting points litter the walls and workers from the hall of Hendle hearth can been seen beavering away collecting and correcting crystals day and night. The sinecure is truly a sight to behold and will take ones breath away with its majesty. This sinecure creates the position “Keeper of the Crystal vale” Carved above the final entrance door to the sinecure an inscription reads “The ebb and flow of magic will forever match the ebb and flow of the empire .......Long live the empire” -->
