385YE Winter Solstice Synod judgements

Overview

During the Winter Solstice 385YE Summit, the Imperial Synod raised 227 judgements.

Recognition

Judgement 3

• Assembly: General
• Raised By: Astrid Fjellrevening Rezia di Tassato
• Judgement: Ozren de Orzel used art to change the world, and this assembly recognises him as an Exemplar of Pride. Inspiration: Ozren directly inspired the creation of the High Bard, and now every year a new High Bard takes to the Senate floor, a long line of artists, performers, and storytellers following in his footsteps using art to inspire and speak truth to those at the heart of the Empire. Pilgrimage: Ozren went to the Pits of Ennerlund in Holberg to put the unquiet ghosts there to rest after the depredations of the Druj. He did not just take liao to exorcise them, but spoke to them and heard their stories. He brought these back out into the light and retold them to their loved ones, so they would not be forgotten. Benevolence: Ozren was instrumental in the creation of the High Bard, and reclaimed the Pits of Ennerlund by carrying the stories of the unquiet dead back out to the light, both of great lasting benefit to the whole Empire. Legacy: As well as his own beautiful body of work, and co-authoring the first High Bard performance on the Senate floor with his future wife Lady Kaywenn du Launcet. Ozren leaves the position of High Bard as a testament to his dedication to seeing Art and inspiration take its place at the heart of Imperial decision making. More than this, each High Bard is expected to leave a composition as a legacy, ensuring an ever growing body of work dedicated to his vision.

Appointment

At the Summit, the following appointments were proposed by the Assemblies of the Synod. You can find the names of citizens who currently hold Imperial titles in the Synod here.

• Outcome: Darian Numbers was appointed with 192 votes. Katya Vasillova Reznikov received 22 votes. Luca i Taziel i Riqueza received 20 votes. Iniska Ashwood received 18 votes.

Judgement 2

• Judgement: Appointment of the Cardinal of the Way
• Outcome: Ashborn Atla was appointed with 110 votes. Konstantin Rabovich Bolotnikov received 54 votes. Warsmith the Iron Way received 24 votes. Max received 12 votes.
