| 12 mithril mana sinecure in hahnmark near old woodhall and the sink hole just outside Hendal hearth hall and its sister sinecures Valley of pride and Vales might
| |
| Autumn’s Boon Sinecure
| |
| This mana sinecure stands on the hillside between the sinecures of the Valley of pride and vales might. It is an almost coliseum type construction where the mana crystals form on the multiple tiers that stagger the inside of the building. Two huge doors allow access to the inside for the custodian to collect the growing crystals by bison and cart. Standing above the entry gates one foot on each tall stone gate support is a huge imposing statue that clearly represents a fallen naga steiner. This steiner was commonly known as “Shining Gliss Stiening” which is carved in the base of the statue. Her statue stands holding a shield strongly forward as if against an invisible enemy while poised with a sword ready to strike with all her might and shows her adorned with her armour. Upon the gate posts etched into the stone there is a poem about Shining Gliss Stiening it reads
| |
| “Shining Gliss steining, runesmith of the mark,
| |
| Lit sparks of prosperity, bright in the dark,
| |
| While she held shining steel, gave her life for her kin,
| |
| She wove ritual words to bring great harvests in.
| |
| This balance is key for the might of our home,
| |
| For there are both heroes of field and of loam.
| |
| Though gliss, small fruit did her ambition yield
| |
| Ensured these bright crystals Prosperity build. “
| |
|
| |
| The sinecure is a strong imposing structure with the runes of Pallas etched upon the doors and flaming baziers upon the walls. The runes of autumn are carved upon the stone cross beam above the main gates along with the words “This statue stands in remembrance, So future generations know that the hero’s of the past have fallen to give them and the empire a future. This is a testament to the virtues of the empire that empower and drive us all.”
