Grud The Unshackled
Grud The Unshackled, sometimes called White Death, is the egregore of the Imperial Orcs. They are the most recent of the egregores to be created, having been brought into existence when the Imperial orcs were recognised as a nation in the reign of Emperor Ahraz.
Confusingly, perhaps, the hosts of the Imperial Orcs egregore always take the name "Grud", and rarely mention their previous name. When there are two or more hosts at a time, they differentiate themselves through epithets such as "the Elder" or "the Soldier".
Current Hosts
Grud the Elder
The elder of the two egregore hosts who regularly attends [[Anvil] is closed-mouthed about his past. Unlike most Orcs he apparently spent a decade living by himself with only the voices of his ancestors for company, which by all accounts has made him one of the most peculiar orcs to appear in Anvil. He sometimes finds it challenging to being around other orcs, and his tendency to act on advice received from his ancestors means he often acts in an unpredictable fashion.
Grud the Soldier
The other host is a soldier, a warrior of the Winter Sun.
Previous Hosts
There have been two previous hosts active at Anvil since 376YE
