It landscapes the area around the Vigilant Swan itself, allowing for the constructions of a lake to be a new home for the Swans that once nested here. This lake is larger than historically, to make room for the Island in the middle. Upon that Island, the Seminary of the Swan will be built - a school for the training of Magisters. It is a building in the classical Highborn style - the tallest tower of which is called Obadiah Spire, which provides the best view of the surrounding countryside; to enjoy or to watch for enemies depending upon the person. | |||
The Seminary ensures that those of a priestly background understand magic, while those of a more magical bent have a sufficiently Orthodox understanding of the Way. The lake is an important part of the school - enclosing the magic practiced in purifying water. | |||
Such training needs magical supplies that the Mana Sites of Reikos can supply - thus generating a steady stream of income for their owners. | |||
It is an austere place of study, that demands much of its students and provides little in the way of comfort; to remove distractions the Students are forbidden to set foot on the mainland. However since even the most diligent of students requires some relaxation eight elegant swan pedalos have been provided and named by the Benefactors of Highguard, one for each virtue and an eighth for the Way: Highborn Virtue; the Pride of Reikos; Naomi’s Vigilance; Adoraims Ambitious Ravens; Asael’s Boon; the Wings of Courage; the Doctors Loyalty; and The Silence of Atun. | |||
