Overview
The Mistress of Monuments is an Imperial title appointed by the Assembly of the Way. The title was created by the Imperial Senate during the Spring Equinox 386YE following an opportunity presented in the Forwards and Rewards wind of fortune.
Responsibilities
The Mistress of Monuments is responsible for working with Imperial artists to commemorate inspirational actions and significant events with monuments and statues.
Powers
Commission Follies
Once per summit, the Mistress of Monuments can commission the construction of a single folly up to nine wains in size. This commission does not count towards the limit on the number of commissions available each season.
To use this power, the Mistress of Monuments provides an announcement to the Civil Service, and then presents the announcement to the Senate. No voting is possible by the Senate at this point, as the power has been delegated to the Mistress of Monuments. The Imperial Synod may, however, choose to exercise their veto over the Mistress of Monuments' commission.

Appointment
