==Appointment==
The Watcher of the Semmerlak is a [[New_Imperial_titles#The_Imperial_Synod|virtue position]] which is [[Appointment|appointed]] by [[judgement]] of the [[Assembly#The_Virtue_Assemblies|Vigilance Assembly]] each Autumn Equinox.
