Explorers who sleep near the hole report unsettling dreams - a great fire plunging down out of the clear night sky and filling them with terror. This has lead to some speculation that the hole might actually be a crater - one caused by the kind of starfall that struck [[Otkodov#Sküld\|Sküld]] in recent years and brought with it a lot of [[ilium]].
