			Prior to the Autumn Equinox 386YE, Meraud apparently entered a period of crisis. Details are sparse, but the gates out of his demesne were all sealed from the inside and the eternal retreated to his tower. A message managed to get out thanks to the ritual [[From the Mouth of Babes]], in which a [[Inhabitants of the realms#Heralds\|herald]] begged for the [[Archmage of Summer]] to sent a [[Archmage#Plenipotentiary\|pleniptentiary]] missive and ask for a parley. This was done, and an apprentice of the ''Summer Mage'' visited the Hall of Worlds, as discussed in the [[Secret_meeting#Fire_Mage\|Secret meeting]] wind of fortune. Imperial magicians made numerous sacrifices to help Meraud stabilize his power and identity. As of the Spring Equino 387YE it seems Meraud is once again in command of his demesne, but there is talk of significant changes of personality that are still being identified by the magicians of the Empire.
