Like the rest of the Broken Shore, it is warm and dry with little in the way of large-scale vegetation. The territory is shared with Beoraidh, an independent nation of orcs formerly of the Grendel. The land has a [[Mareave and Urizen\|long history]], but was conquered by the Empire and assigned to the Imperial Orcs in early 386YE.
