The Corsair of Oran has a responsibility to represent the interests of Oran and the corsairs of Feroz. In addition, if the wharfage, its shipwrights, or traders who had docked there were to be threatened in any way, it would be the responsibility of the Corsair of Oran to deal with those threats.

==Expansion==
While the Wharfage stands, it can be upgraded to a [[shipyard]] at any time for a cost of 15 wains of weirwood, 20 wains of white granite, and 105 crowns. It would require a commission and either a motion or an announcement by a title permitted to construct a shipyard. The Corsair of Oran would retain their powers if the wharfage was expanded.
