			Georgie's Home for Goodest Doggos is a sinecure in Holberg that was commisioned in Winter 383 that is awarded each year to a League citizen as decided by the League Senators. While they hold the title to Georgie's Home they are known as the Goodest Doge.

			Responsibilities

			Goodest Doge would be expected to deal with any issue that were to affect the Home and if Holfried were to ever come under siege they would be expected to muster the doggos to protect the city's food supplies from rats and other such pests.

			Powers

			This position confers no special powers but the Goodest Doge is entitled to some of the funds raised by the efforts of the doggos and their handlers to the tune of 216 rings per season.

			Appointment

			The sinecure is appointed each year by the League Senators based on who can prove they have the Goodest Dog. There is no set way to prove this but applicants are encouraged to compete using art, stories, performance, agility courses or bribery to persuade the senators that they have or had the Goodest Doggo.

			This is appointed annually and can only be held by Leagueish citizens

			Georgie's Home for Goodest Doggos

			The sinecure is a large kennels and dogs home in Holfried, Holberg, which takes in the majority of the strays in the city. These dogs are given a comfortable life with lots of bones, walks and postmen to attack; in return they are trained up for a variety of roles such as guard dogs, customs sniffers etc. All, however are trained to function as ratters so that if Holberg were to ever come under siege from the Druj again the city's food supplies would be kept safe from the vermin pushed ahead of the Druj armies.

			The Home was built by the coven The Withering Gaze in honour of their long dead and beloved doggo Georgie, who was one of the original three members of the mountebank coven. Rumours still persist to this day as to the true nature of Georgie, and also as to how exactly a charitable home for stray dogs manages to make such a tidy and consistent profit.
