	<!--Built of stone from the nearby Sunless Depths mine, the Gallery of Memories is a simple building surrounded by a small garden of flowers and sculptures. The exterior centrepiece is a stone carving inlaid with flecks of local mithril, depicting enslaved workers sharing food after a long day.

	The interior space exhibits artwork and literature produced by Imperial citizens who have been liberated from oppression. The exhibitions focus on enabling displays of Pride in the artists’ previous existences, in spite of their hardships. Talks and performances by survivors are hosted to give visitors more context for the works and to provide insights into the variety of backgrounds of these citizens. All manner of formerly oppressed peoples are welcome, and all are encouraged to share stories of the lives, cultures, and people they left behind.

	Visitors are encouraged to provide appropriate donations to pay the artists, upkeep the building, and for the work of the Curator in organising the exhibitions and speakers. The Gallery’s construction was funded by the Proffered Hand Network, established by Lady Eleanor Novarion, and bears a small plaque in her memory above the ~~door.-->~~
