			In the summer of 386YE, the [[Jotun]] barbarians [[Only_forward\|invaded Gravenmarch]], widely known as “''the only dry land in Bregasland''" and used the aid of the [[Adamant\|King-under-the-mountain]] to secure the return of ''[[Only_forward#Object:_Halt_the_Burhfæst!\|the Burhfæst]]'' – a magical citadel drawn from the [[Realm#Summer\|Summer realm]]. The Jotun poured out of this citadel in Spring 387YE, capturing much of the marshy territory. However the [[Strong Reeds]] had kept their vigil over the marshes of Bregasland in accordance with the solemn oath sworn by their general to protect the Bregas people. The army [[Laid low\| concealed themselves]] and the wealth of the territory were only thing that has stood between the Jotun host and complete control of Bregasland.
