Nikettas fought against the [[Druj]] for almost his entire adult life. The Swan's Chalice was apparently a gift from the eternal [[Ylenrith]], allegedly earned at least in part by Nikettas' involvement in the rescue of the [[Archmage]] of Day, ''Gemma Steward''. Nikettas fell in battle in Holberg in 365YE and the talisman was never recovered.
