This ritual is part of Urizen lore rather than Imperial lore. Any Urizen character with the appropriate lore can master or perform this ritual. A character from another nation who mastered the ritual before it became part of Urizen lore may still perform it, but does so under the usual rules for performing a ritual learned from a ritual text.

Performing the Ritual

Performing this ritual takes at least 2 minutes of roleplaying. This ritual targets a character, who must be present throughout. The target character must possess the battle mage skill.

This ritual is an enchantment. A target may only be under one enchantment effect at a time.

Effects

The target gains the ability to expand a point of personal mana to call CLEAVE when wielding a staff implement. The target must follow all the rules for casting an offensive spell, and must recite an appropriate incantation before using their staff this way.

While under the effect of the enchantment the target experiences a roleplaying effect: you find it difficult to control you temper, and any irritation or anger you experience is significantly stronger to the point it may overpower your good sense if only for a few moments.

This effect is even more pronounced if you have the changeling lineage.

The effect lasts until the start of the next Profound Decisions Empire event.

Additional Targets

This ritual can affect additional characters from the same coven. Each additional character increases the magnitude by 6. Additional characters must be present throughout.
