Emerald Arcanist

Overview

The Emerald Arcanist is an Imperial title appointed by the Vallornguard. Construction of Jonas' Legacy was announced by Bertrand, as the Bearer of an Imperial Wayleave, during the Summer Solstice 387YE, and construction was completed shortly before the Autumn Equinox 387YE.

Responsibilities

The Emerald Arcanist is responsible for advising the Vallornguard on magical matters. In addition, the Arcanist is expected to defend the border between Brocéliande and Semmerholm. Finally, if Jonas' Legacy, or its inhabitants, were to be threatened, it would be the responsibility of the Emerald Arcanist to respond to the threat.

The Emerald Arcanist has custodianship of a sinecure. They receive nine mana crystals each season

Appointment

The Emerald Arcanist is appointed during the Autumn Equinox each year by members of the Vallornguard.

Any Imperial citizen can hold this title. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, and by the Assembly of the Nine.
