The Custodian of the Lost is an Imperial title appointed by the Conclave.

The Custodian of the Lost has a responsibility to help people harmed by magical curses or by exposure to celestial forces.
Powers
Bequests
The Custodian of the Lost receives 108 rings each season from bequests made by the families of former patients.
Appointment
The appointment, replacement, or removal of the Custodian of the Lost is made by the declaration of candidacy as part of a Conclave session. Any Imperial citizen may hold the title.
The Custodian of the Lost serves until they are replaced by another magician using the Declaration of Candidacy. As a title in the Conclave, they cannot be revoked.
