Conscience of the Dunnings
Overview
The Conscience of the Dunnings is an Imperial title awarded to a citizen of Wintermark. Construction of Spooner's Rest was announced by Eldrid 'Phoenix Flame' Vestardottir, as the Bearer of an Imperial Wayleave, during the Spring Equinox 388YE, and construction was completed shortly before the Summer Solstice 388YE.
Responsibilities
The Conscience of the Dunnings is responsible for providing advice and support for the Dunning family. Given the widespread nature of the family, they are also responsible for the spiritual health of the residents of New Dunhall. They are also responsible for Hall of Spooner's Rest. If the Hall, or those who visit it, were to be threatened, it would be the responsibility of the Conscience of the Dunnings to deal with those threats.

A Portion of Liao
The sinecure provides 12 doses of liao to the Conscience of the Dunnings each season, to be used as they see fit.
Appointment
The Conscience of the Dunnings is a national position which is appointed by judgement of the Wintermark Assembly.
The Speaker is appointed during the Autumn Equinox each year. They can be revoked by the General Assembly, the Wintermark Assembly, and the Assembly of the Nine.
