Overview
Lineage is something that happens to humans - and only humans - who are "touched" in some fashion by the power of one of the six realms of magic. They are still human, but they possess physical trappings that differentiate them from their fellows. Lineaged people also experience urges toward certain behaviour as a consequence of the taint of magic in their blood. Within the Empire, lineaged people are treated the same as any other citizens, although people from specific nations may make assumptions about a person based on their lineage.
